Does DNP go bad?

Hey Guys,

I have some left-over DNP that I have had for nearly two years it has been in a sealed bottle. Can I use it, or no. Thanks in advance for advice

Small.....bottom line, yes, but it will most likely be at a reduced effectiveness. Please do a search on my name and look at another post where I explained this in detail.

Although this is in a sealed bottle, once the DNP was initially exposed to air it started to absorb moisture. Unless you are working with a laboratory sealed bottle, the most effective shelf life of DNP is 6 months.

Correct...in a short period of time it will soak through anything (almost). The best thing is to store it in a tightly capped brown glass bottle. However, it will still most likely leach through the cap, but the glass will slow it down it a little.
