Don’t call it a comeback

Yeah will get one or two welded up I want two pulley system
I wanted to get 2 as well, but I have nowhere to put it. As it is, this is temporary. Apparently my wife wants to buy a functional trainer—idk where the hell she wants to put it.

Yeah that. I couldn’t think of the name lol. I was gonna call it a dildo looking thing lmao.

Red band curl - Tendon work

-Been dealing with some pretty bad Tendonitis, which I should’ve expected when jumping right into 3x week pressing...so I’m just taking it slow and pressing when my arm feels decent. Having this experience before, I know it’ll go away soon enough.

-My biggest concern right now is hitting my macros. In my entire life, I’ve never had appetite problems (obviously), but Tren E fucking depletes me. I have to force down even a chicken breast and a cup of rice. I guess I’ll start doing smaller meals, since I usually only eat 2 meals a day and a shake.

quick edit: 254 today. 14 more pounds on this cut. Shouldn’t take too long, but I feel a lot of regaining muscle mass has happened since getting back in the gym after Covid

You’re at the newb gain stage after the layoff?
I don’t think it’s so much that, as much as it’s recouping what I already had. Cos I recomped a lot between 260-255. But I was completely off AAS, minus 100mgs of test /wk, for 6 months...without any working out too.

-IDK, man...This bodybuilding style is kinda addicting. Definitely gonna have to add blocks of it from now on. I love chasing numbers, but seeing real growth, not just strength gains, is fucking awesome...As a testament to that statement, I was pulling 600lbs without any noticeable trap development...After switching to BB focused accessories, and a LOT of snatch grip, I’ve started to see some growth. Hopefully by this time next year, this growth will be permanent without a pump lol.

-No sleep. A tree fell on my apartment last night, busted out a few windows, so spent most of the day over there with my tenants and contractors to get that fixed. Still tried to get in and just get some pressing in. I’m not overly impressed, but 280x2 is exactly where I was previously. Except this one was actually harder. It was wobbly AF with those DB’s strapped on, lol.

Sucks to hear about the tree
But good to hear that you're back up there on bench
You've made a serious bounce back
The fact that you're back up to peak so quickly is fucking great news

Thanks brother. I’m gonna attribute it to the programming (since I’m still in a deficit—tho not extreme), Jame’s program has been awesome. I’ve made minor adjustments to fit my needs / equipment, but otherwise followed it to a T. The good part is that I’m only 8 weeks in, so maybe by the end I’ll smash those 3 plates.

If you smash 3 plates while in a deficit
You will literally be my hero
If I'm ina. deficit, I cant make a single pound extra on my lifts lol

Lmao. I don’t think that’s possible. I’ll be eating at least maintenance by then, I hope. I’ve only got 10 more pounds to go before I switch over to recomp and up the cals.

Lol okay
I feel better now hahaha

I do train with a genetic freak that hits PRs naturally while ina deficit
actually really annoys me TBH

You'll for sure hit 3 if the calorie are there, just based off of hitting your previous levels so quickly upon return and in a deficit.

Lol that shits annoying.

I’m hoping man...This cycle has been great. I just wish I had the EQ to go with it, lol. Next time. But I’ve actually been taking care of my macros and things now too—I was lazy about them before. I guess everything is different when you take the entire thing serious and not just one part.

Did yesterday’s accessories today. Only been in the gym 3-4 days a week lately. It feels weird. I wanna do some conditioning, but I’m just not motivated to.

These came in today. Been waiting on the Box for a while, gonna test it out tomorrow. It seems sturdy enough.

the mouthpiece actually came yesterday and I felt it helped a lot with pressing. Did a lot of research before buying it, and it all looked promising. Never used one before...You guys?

I've only used a mouthguard for a few heavy lifts.
Seems to help with rigidity, but I never stuck with it, as it was a different feel and distracted from my form... I'm sure if I had stuck with it, I would have seen improvements

I know a lot of guys swear by mouth gaurds

I don’t personally but there’s many who use the same mouth guard at my gym

-Going back to the program now. I came off for a few days to do some max effort cos I missed it.

Definitely need more chains. 50-60 lb is useful with bench but I think 100-120 lb is needed to overload dL. You don’t want the chains to come totally off the floor so 60lbs of chains ends up actually being 50 at lock out and 120 ends up 105 or so at lock out. If you can setup the chains to deload the majority of the weight on the floor like you should( good spud inc straps really shine here) 100+ chains overload at the top hits like a ton of bricks.

I read on EiteFTS (I think) that bench should be 10-20% of max for chains?? 25 is still low. So yeah, maybe 50 would work. I’m not sure I’m gonna use them for DL. I really like bands on DL’s. Definitely skwaats tho.
