Curious about this matter:

When drinking BCAA’s before fasted cardio, does the body utilise the amino acids or stored fat as its primary source of energy?
Whilst taking in the consideration that the BCAA’s are 0 cals (negligible).

Still getting the benefits of fasted cardio??

As the body can store almost a days worth of carbs i am not sure how fasted makes much of a difference myself. Most studies i have seen don't show a great difference in calorie burn.

Technically speaking, taking bcaa's, eaa's, etc. is breaking a fast. So if you want the benefits of fasting, don't take them.

Otherwise, best way of breaking a fast is with collagen or something like bcaa's, eaa's. And I'm talking about proper fasts like two, three days, etc.

Unless you're on a diet with 0 gram of carbs, or under 50g with cardarine, don't waste your time with fasted cardio.
