Dumsta and Rocco hit it hard

Bigger and more hairy than what, @Dumsta Baby's arms? I would hope so.

Lol...I was talking about the pic from "Who is the biggest, most shredded" thread when I said your arms were small.:(

Slight back injury today. No time for the pain so I will just ignore it for now and keep pushing.

Been battling one myself...its a bitch. Got the same outlook...ignore it and keep pushing. Hang in there. Get some Tiger Balm, it helps.

Saturdays workout was pretty good. My back is still hurting so i did not want to push it too hard. Heavy chest day with mostly singles. Setup is still not right but getting better. New PR on the bench at 305lbs for one rep. Went up slow but did not feel like it stressed my body that much.

@Dumsta Baby is teaching me the correct way to train on the treadmill. Eighteen minutes if intervals was fun when doing it with someone. I will be forever greatful to her for the help in the gym, work and life in general.

Congrats on the PR. Glad you and DB are getting it in. Keep hittin it hard. As you get bigger youll be able to hit it harder and harder. Its gonna feel great.

Haven't posted lately because nothing has changed much. I am hitting the gym as hard as I can at least six days a week with @Dumsta Baby. She has been dragging ass the last couple of days waiting for the re-up of Test from the HRT doc. She is still crushing it harder then most females with the lifting while still getting her runs in. I have not been able to push the running as hard as would like to because I had started a new routine every other day that gave me bad leg pain. Mostly in two small spots in my one quad and one small spot in the other. Then for no reason I got the same pain in my glute. I think my new once a week routine might be better. Once the leg pain goes away I will up my running. I will keep everyone posted as I go for a new bench PR on Saturday. I have some strange compulstion to be able to hit a 320lb bench. Thanks DB for making this push so much fun.

Um slacking and dragging so bad...the tear or whatever in my arm/shoulder is part, but the test has to be the fatigue. If it weren't for getting there to work out w Rocco, I would stay home and twitch in pain.....at least I get points for dressing and showing up :D ... Someone has to scream at the Dog as he benches.... He da best. So I can do legs and run....legs, left arm and run....lol....or just run for a while....will see what's what after bloodwork...stress has to be a huge factor.....thank goodness for pet pups ;)
The reason his leg is hurting is because he made on the carpet and I beat him....then when he humped my leg I beat him again.....hit his leg on accident....

Ooops, I forgot to mention what appears to be a tricep dorsal tendon tear. DB thinks every workout should include at least one new PR and does not take no for an answer when the weights just won't move. She has more drive and determination to overcome obstacles in life then anyone I have ever met. It's starting to rub off on me, which makes me one lucky dog!
Having such a supportive gym partner and friend makes such a difference...plus what he and now I get from you guys. I have been able to make my body change like never thought I could, lift weight I never thought I could.....and with all the other crap....not only would the workouts slack but would be having a much harder time....I very well mat have passed the 18 mile race, but Rocco asked me....repeatedly, making sure I was going to still do it....

Nice to be able to push yourself as far as possible but on a serious note be mindful of the risk of injury can increase dramatically in that case. Hopefully the biceps tear is not serious but still get it checked out by the doc and if warranted surgery may have to be done to fix it. I myself have had damage done to muscles in my legs and in my bravado never gotten round to fixing them..now I am paying the price.

I was going to 'like' the post until I saw the end. Sorry to hear that. Had something on my leg, just below the calf on inside...still can see it and feel it, every now and then just gives out...but that was the doctor not me...wrestling 7th grade (boys team) don't get excited I was pudgy lol

Playing football as well as doing dangerous things as a kid so had my share of nasty injury

Hopefully there are some good options for your case though but you may need 6 months off gym training.

Saturday is our heavy day. My body weight is four pounds up in four weeks. I worked up to a 305lb bench and it went up easier then last week. Then I was able to do a set of five at 275lbs, set of three at 275lbs and 225 for ten. It seems like I am not running out of steam as fast as I had been and the strength is still there.

@Dumsta Baby is still hurting but she was doing overhead tricep extentions working up to 80lbs and then back down. She threw in some overhead DB press for good luck and was in pain the rest of the day. If she does not stop going heavy and let her injury heal I think I will have to give her a spanking <---I am going to pay big time for that joke. Our new moto is lift, eat, repeat. Not original but it works.
