Nolvadex

Dosage and Efficacy

In all studies involving Nolvadex for stimulating endogenous testosterone production, only 20-40 mg daily doses were used. It has been shown that doubling the dose to 40 mg or higher does not produce any significant difference in endogenous testosterone secretion.

The only reason why many opt for higher daily doses of Nolvadex for the first 1-2 weeks of PCT is to achieve optimal peak blood plasma levels more quickly, to ensure more rapid HPTA (Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Testicular Axis) recovery. However:

• This isn't necessary and just further increases the risk of potential side effects.
• During the first week of PCT, there may be lingering suppressive AAS in the bloodstream, simply leading to greater oxidative stress on the body by taking more compounds.

Recent studies have found that even lower doses than traditionally prescribed are equally effective.

Recommended PCT Protocol

• Dosage: 10-20 mg/day
• Duration: 6-8 weeks recommended
• Start at 20 mg and reduce to 10 mg if side effects become too prevalent
