Easy touch low dead space syringe (pointed plunger tip) sucks

Dammm $250 a vial !!! I’m going to lol too lol lol hahaha
Yeah I mean at first I didn’t have a problem with it since they gave you actual us generic brands that you’d get at your local cvs.

But now that they give you some amber color vial from the compounding pharmacy I’m starting to get ocd about waste since they don’t over fill it like pharma brands do.

Either way I’ll have to start looking for a source here cause it’s getting to expensive

I just did a practice run with some left over 25g 1 inch in my delt. Just stuck the needle in no barrell attached.

Didn’t realize how easy the delts were. I didn’t feel a thing. Plus it beats turning around and trying to hit your glutes. Sometimes depending on the angle I’d hit it at I’d be getting a rib cramp from being twisted in that position

I’ll just have to look in the mirror while doing delts

Or put my arm on the bed at a 90 degree angle and let the muscle relax then I can see it better.

I’m going to try 27 g 5/8 insulin so I don’t have to waste anymore.
Oh man if you think delts are cake, wait til you try lats. Best site ever.

Slow it down buddy!! One new muscle group at a time !!

If delts start giving me issues I’m going to try quads. Never even heard of lat injections.
Basically just need to find a muscle I can use insulin pin with and not waste anymore oil.

That little plunger tip that you see protruding in the syringe takes away volume and your dose includes what’s in the needle hub.

But you can’t even get everything out of the needle hub when you inject which forces you to do the airlock method.

Which is what made me realize that dead space is actually not accounted for in your dose.

I drew to .8 pushed back in so it would go to .5 exactly ( with oil in needle hub)

Took syringe/needle out of vial. Drew air bubble( just enough so what’s in the needle hub is released (dead space)

Flipped the plunger upsaid down so air bubble goes to top and then pressed plunger back down so needle hub would be filled with oil and ready to inject.

To my surprise it now was only filled up to the .45ml line with air bubble line at .5ml.

I’m not using those needles anymore. 2023 and they still can’t figure it out.

Sol-M needles are the only fixed needles like insulin syringes that come in 1inch 1.5 inch 5/8 inch 1/2 inch with 23g 25g 27g but you can’t buy them for personal use only medical stores can buy them and no medical store Carrys them

How fucking hard is it to make a needle that gets your proper dose ?

Might just switch to insulin syringe and try my delts. At this point and ditch my 23g 1.5 inch
I use slin pins in quads and delts

I always draw .1 more because when I let the air bubble out I loose a little oil as well.
When you let the air bubble out- meaning when you already have the air bubble at top of plunger but need to release the air that’s in the hub now to bring the oil back into the hub and ready to inject , correct?

That’s what I was talking about too. I get the air bubble up top. Then press the plunger down to release the air in the hub so the oil is back down In the hub and it’s missing even more at that point lol

I still don’t get why they don’t just make easy touch fixed needles like the insulin ones but with 1 indh.

Exactly

That's true, I just like using a seperate larger draw needle, speeds things up a bit and is suposibly more sterile. Not sure how when slin pins are fixed needles.

you back fill them basically.... is there a small risk of contamination? sure but people have been doing it and as long as you don't live in a ditch in India you are probably ok....

No ditch in india lmao, but I do keep a course of antibiotics on hand all the time just incase. I've never back loaded a slin pin but I should learn to
Do it properly. I'm starting to like the idea of them to cut back on scar tissue.

yep slin pins are great thats all I use 31g 1/2" needle with mct oil it goes in smooth and fast... can pin it anywhere there is little fat so glutes are out unfortunatly but lats, delts, pecs, trys are all good to go
quads i avoid ... too many horror stories)

These exel syringes aren't what you're looking for? They have a rubber plunger with an extended part that goes down into the channel between the needle and the syringe.

Pretty sure it pushes all the oil out that way, other than what's in the needle itself.

$250 a vial?! That's even dumber than worrying about .05 ml.
Technically 100$ a month since the vial lasts you 10 weeks.

12 months / 2.5 months( per vial )= 4.8

4.8 * $250

1200$

1200/12 months

100$ a month for TRT services with Medication included ( 10ml vial and 10 1mg ai)

So it’s marketed as 100 bucks a month but in reality it’s $250 bucks every refil.

Yeah I think I’m going to do one more refill for my cruise then start looking at other options.

Getting too expensive.
