Egg farts! Any cure? (Serious topic)

What’s up y’all!

Im seriously getting sick (and so are others) of the toxic waste gas coming out of my rear every 30 to 45 minutes all day. I eat a LOT of eggs. I eat at minimum a half dozen whole eggs a day and a half carton of liquid egg pasteurized egg whites and after nearly 20 years I still have yet to find anything that will mitigate the smelly farts.

Has anyone here found a over the counter vitamin, pill, or food that will prevent the smell?

The liquid egg whites take the smell to a whole new level and is hate to give them up with my busy schedule. Eggs and liquid egg white are just so damn convenient but something’s gotta give with the 24/7 gas!

This is meant to be a serious topic but go ahead and have some fun at my expense though lol

Ever try swapping out the liquid egg whites for protein powder?
 
Nothing works for me, so I steer clear of eggs. It pisses me off when my stomach is gassy. Means I’m bloated and pushing gas out constantly. Feeling not so great.

I completely adjusted my whole diet around what makes me gassy/bloated. So I don’t eat said foods.
Honestly feel way better digestion wise.
 
cut the protein intake down especialy powders if you use it and limit your eggs and it will resolve your issue. I would concentrate on calories from quality whole foods sources more good fats & easy digest carbs.
 
It's the sulphur, isn't it?
I think it can affect some people more than others, depending on your digestive system.
If you eat them with stuff like broccoli and onions It's even worse, because those are sulfur rich, too.
Also, idk if you ever have the liquid whites raw but I think that is also even more "problematic", lol.

Maybe eating things that contain digestive enzymes could help a bit, like papaya, sauerkraut, kefir, that kind of thing.
I think you can find those enzymes in pill form, in health shops, too.

Maybe have a try, see if it makes any difference.
But stick with it, have those enzymes rich foods every day for a while.

Khm, have you tried Not eating eggs? Are you the Egg man? I just love the idiosyncrasies of aas forums on a rainy day ... BigPoppa must eat eggs, BigPoppa needz eggs to be big, to lift big, or else nobody gonna love him. But BigPoppa smell bad, and nobody lovez them a rotten egg type of a smelly fella.

But i understand, once you find something easy and convenient, you go with that.

Have you tried if less eggs = less lethal bum air? Or it is the same?

Do they make your faeces smell bad, too, or just flatulence?

On a more serious note, you're playing with your microbiome, overloading on one specific food which stimulates a certain type of bacteria, will push your microbiome heavily in that direction. In this case, you are heavily stimulating Bacteroides and also, stimulating sulfur reducing bacteria, as for instance Bilophila wadsworthia. I'd advise you to ease up on eggs.

Otherwise molybdenum and bismuth are seldomly used for sulfur. For instance, for H2S SIBO, rifaximin and bismuth are the recommended combination.

It’s mostly just gassy. Can’t really say popping a squat smells worse than any other time. I’ll probably cut back on the eggs whites for a couple weeks and just stick to the boiled eggs. Pasteurized liquid egg whites have always been my cheat code for a quick and easy source of high protein when my appetite just isn’t there for a full meal.

I've tried Beano, and for me, it noticeably cut down on gas, but not entirely. Good option though.

If drinking protein is an option, try pea protein shakes. Since using that for the past year my gasi-ness has been better.

Or, man-up and handle your odors like a big dawg!
 
Could also be another food causing the gas, and the wind getting thoroughly "scented" by the sulfur from the eggs...
