Research purposes it's fine, but I genuinely don't think we can do much quality improvement on the raw side.

Real change happens in steps. The process is moving.

I have only recently learnt, thanks to something you reposted, why he was banned from here, in the first place (spamming a vendor's thread).
I liked what he was doing, there.

Maybe, seeing sources are engaging with your ideas and how, for example, they may start testing raws (which they are not all doing) may make him develop a more positive disposition towards you.

The floater fiasco with that Matrix source had nothing to do with you or the testing, in the first place, if he is still giving you grief over it.
It was unfortunate, but avoidable, going forward.

I imagine the level of skepticism at the way certain sources have interacted with you and their commitment to guaranteeing tansparency and basic qc is still high.

But since readalot popped over there I’ve been stirring the pot some, and supporting suggestions to sources other there. Between MESO and sst, sst probably needs the tighter scrutiny anyway.

As for Martrix, I wouldn’t have given him a shot if it wasn’t for readalot and the testing he willingly performed. I have no idea how I was the first to catch and call attention to the floaters. But it all worked out in a way to correct the situation.

Take from that what you will. Does testing mean nothing if we can’t even perform the basic task of having floater free gear. Im aware the added testing is of benefit. But is it a false sense of security. Or is it just part of the learning curve for a new source.
