evenly distributed?

let's say you guys had some xan powder and wanted to make a liquid out of it.......how would you know it's evenly distributed throughout the solvent? on something where the increments are so small....it would be key to keep the dosage exact.........just wondering if someone can explain this to me........forgive me if this doesn't belong here......

If its in solution (hence the solvent) then it will be evenly distibuted.

A suspension is a different story. -Your Endo

anybody have any insight for a helpless guy?

so if you could expand on this a little for me......i'm wonderin for example....

since xan powder is soluble in methanol or ethanol

if it will always be evenly distributed....even if the solvent isn't totally saturated......(lol...i think i'm using the right terms...been a while)

say......1 liter of ethanol will hold 2 grams of xan powder....... (pulling these numbers out of my ass btw) and i put 1 gram into 1 liter.......is there any possibility of the concentrations being different in different parts of the full liter........you know...from mL to mL.......any chance that 2mg/mL in some of it...and then say .5mg/mL in another part...of the same liquid.....

i know normally it's not a big deal but a small change in dosage in something like this can change the effects significantly....

i'll appreciate any further input from anyone guys.....

If the powder totally disolves then your fine.

Its only when you become supersaturated is when you have created a suspension and you will have "uneven distribution" of the drug. Powder floating at the top or sunk to the bottom is a good sign that youve added to much powder to properly disolve.

If I interputed your posting it sounds like you got the right idea. -Your Endo
