I remember my mother would use witch hazel to prevent wrinkles and it worked great for her. Recently, at the age of 63, I thought I'd take a look at something for me.

So I did a search on Amazon and came across a product called Thayers. The first time I applied it I could feel the skin on my face tightening. After a few weeks of daily use on my face and neck I could definitely see an improvement. This will not get rid of deep crows feet around the eyes or between the eyes, but will make them less deep. I noticed this especially on my forehead, the wrinkles are less deep.

My 3 sisters came for a visit and I told them about it and they all ordered it. One sister is married to a mail carrier who is 70 years old. His skin was very dry and wrinkled. She has been telling him to use creams but he doesn't use them. He started using Thayers and loves it. He uses it twice a day. She told me he looks about 20 years younger.

At Amazon it costs about $10 for 12 ounces. With thousands of reviews, it's rated 4.5 stars. Its a rose-petal water base with aloe vera. I put some on my palms and apply it to my face and neck daily. After a bath I use it all over. Great stuff, non greasy, pleasant and mild fragrance, and very inexpensive.

I just read up on it. It's a toner. That being said remember to add a moisturizer to it afterwards, preferable one with SPF protection if you are using it in the am and a night time cream for the pm. Oil of Olay makes some great products at a good price.

Absolutely nothing wrong with caring for your skin!

heres something I posted awhile back.

in the study ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19653897 whitch hazel has a high antioxidant effect.
rose tincture and rose aqueous had effects against collagenase and elastase. white tea had the greatest effect against both.
maybe ill look into thayers, and if I do Ill be sure to figure out a way to get some white tea in there so I can apply it topically. which I do now anyway.
ive always taken care of my skin, inside and out. because in addition to a few topicals, a good diet and some certain foods are just as important.
its nice to have people think you look like your in your early twenties when your actually in your late thirties.
