Factors that Diminish GH Response (↓Δ IGF-I); The Purpose of the Serum IGF-I Test: A Revision (2.0) [Author: Type-IIx]

if your igf1 is low there are 2 general causes

1)fake product
2)disappointing genetics

if you get a normal low igf1 from the tests and also a normal(not increase) GH hormone I think it is clear that the product is fake
That's too simple of an explanation, can't give simple answer to complex question.

Assuming the product is good what if one in the past had an igf of 450+ on 5IU and years later has 350/400 on 10IU?

Your answer wouldn't even cover a case like this by a mile.
So I disagree. There are many variables and few are kinda complicated

something i noticed for me personally when doing a lot of bloodwork during GH usage -> the lower my cortisol was the higher IGF1 i had, running the same amount of GH and steroids

So yeah, i agree with you that IGF1 is impacted by a lot of factors overall.

if you were in abundance of IGF1 anyway I wouldn't give it too much importance, maybe timing of the sampling? GH IM absorption slowed down or speeded up by some factor?

in bodybuilding there is too much paranoia, take your drugs, eat, train, the rest will come by itself without focusing on secondary things especially if you don't compete or have a common physique as I think you have not of a bodybuilder

I know this wasn't directed at me, but you'd still get the lipolytic effects of hGH, like with hGH frag 176-191.
Yes GH has direct lipolytic effects and then negative effects, hyperglycemia, edema. IGF-I has additional fat-loss effects and tends to counter GH’s negative effects. Still, IGF-I is not merely a somatomedin but GH & IGF-I act as dual effectors. The increase to IGF-I is paramount for bodybuilders, but the two act in concert.

Since people are talking numbers here, I'll repost this. It's IGF1 in people on Meso who use GH:

Approximately: GH dose (IU/d) x 32 + 238 = average IGF1 level.

Huge variance. This graph is ONLY dose of hGH and IGF1 levels. No other factors.

I made this out of curiosity. Not trying to solve some big mystery.
