All the stats for last seson are history and each day your team gets points for what the players did that day in a game..

The stats kept are for runs, home runs, runs batted in, batting average and steals.

For pitching the stats kept are wins, ERA, whip, strike outs and saves.

coolio?

Give us the point break down

that helps but I would like to know how much weight is put on something. Is a homerun and 2 k's still worth more than a guy that goes 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a run scored and 1 rbi? c what i am saying. anywhere i can read to break this shit down? i am ready to fine tune my computer picked machine. I already dumped some faggots the computer stuck me with. As if i didnt hate computers enough b4 they did that

Try playing this way, look at everbodys team and if you can match up stat wise then your in good shape. Dont overlook homerun power.

I think FTW knows all the keys and isn't willing to share. Here is a vote to oppose every trade and move FTW makes until he comes clean :D

Its simple as in a homerun is a 1hit, atleast 1 rbi, 1 run and 1 hr.

Power is not a bad thing.

Are we in a Fantasy (2nd link above) point league or a Rotisserie (1st link above) league? I'm assuming Fantasy point league, in which case it states:

In a Fantasy Point League (available only to Custom Leagues), points are awarded based on how well your players perform in each of several statistical categories. All real-life statistics have associated point values, and each player's points are summed to produce your daily total.

So, if in your league, a home run is worth four points, a stolen base two, and a RBI one, a player with two homers, three steals, and 10 RBI would score 24 [(2*4) + (3*2) + (10*1)] fantasy points.

Fantasy points, which are only awarded to starting players on your team, are tallied throughout the season. Each team with the highest total at the end of the year wins its league championship.

Fantasy point scoring is only available in Custom Leagues, and the commissioner must specify both the categories used and the point modifier values. If the commissioner does not specify a point modifier for a given category, no fantasy points will accrue in that category.

FTW, I'm assuming you're the commish, so is a homer 4 points, etc.? Thanks for the clarification.

Yes that is the way i see it and sould be a good leauge for all of us.
I would like it if you could type out and post how much each item is. For example and Homerun is worth? RBI, Win for a pticher, stikeout, ect...

bumping this up. :D

ok homerun = 1run, 1 rbi, 1hr and ups the batting average. Now its only 1 point for one HR but with the extra's its like 4 points.

A run to cross the plate is 1
stolen base is 1 point
rbi = 1 point
bating average is ranked on a curve.

As for pitchers your ranked on wins = 1 point
saves = 1 point
strikeouts=1
and your ERA and WHIP is graded on a cruve.

So there are 5 stats on each side if this is kewl let me know, if not it can be changed.

thanks man. that helps.
