Which do you find the best tradeoff of convenience vs. effort?

I feel tricked. I didn’t get into roids to learn physics and chemistry and biology and medicine. I just wanted my shirts to fit tighter and my wife to get wetter.

You'll break the filter membrane. I use a 10ml syringe and a larger gauge needle. 19g or 21g. Takes about 1-2 minutes per vial.

I’ve been using 22g. Maybe that’s where I’m screwing up.

10ml syringe is perfect, you filter a 10ml vial in 30 seconds with no strength needed pressing the plunger, just a slight pressure.

Use a 21g as a needle

Cool, I’ve been pretty happy with the 10mLs with 13mm filters. I have a surplus of 18g needles so I use those. It’s really so easy to filter, everybody should do it. The hardest part is printing up the labels for the recipient vials.

Are you doing everything now or just Chinese? I just pulled the trigger on some filters and vials from the peptide testing site. They only had 50ml vials but I have a kit of test to do so it will work out.

Everything! Oils, peptides / Reta, and things that ship as reconstituted water-based solutions like LIPO-C. Who among them is not Chinese in some way?

Even the couple of test cyp vials I got from a compounding pharmacy via a TRT clinic aren't above suspicion. Some of those compounding pharmacies are sketchy AF. One of the ones in Florida doing big Sema/Tirz volume for all the GLP1 sites got shut down for failing inspection and operating an unlicensed production site. Then they just reincarnated under a different name.

Amazon carries all the sizes of KS-Tek sterile vials, and they seem to be well-regarded.

Yeah I guess I'm trusting the solid domestic sources here and at SST a bit more. The cost of filtering supplies to do everything starts to add up pretty quick. I know health comes first. Risk vs reward is the game we're playing I suppose.

Yeah, I started off thinking "holy shit, this stuff is way cheaper and easier than I thought, why didn't I do this years ago?" and then I came here and was shown the true nature of the Matrix.

My wife asked me to be as careful as possible, and I promised I would. She would much rather I didn't do any of this at all esp. given a health scare we're still figuring out, so I figure it's a fair compromise to filter everything, carefully vet sources so I'm not just buying whatever's the best deal, test judiciously, and give up some of the riskier compounds I was planning to try. Control the variables you can.

Do you notice that the KS-Tek viles are slightly larger than 10mL? After filtering 10mL I thought I last 1-2mL transferring it to the ks-tek based on how high the oil filled up in the viles. But then I put the ks-tek vile next to the old vile the oil was originally in and the ks seemed wider.

Sure, I think of it as "suitable to hold 10mL of solution" rather than "envelops exactly 10mL of space". They're all going to leave some dead air space between the product and stopper and I wouldn't guess that's standardized.

Raws in *this* economy?!?

Man, I have all the equipment and consumables ready to go, and all the raws I can find is stuff somebody spilled and swept off the lab floor, or raws for shit nobody needs, like estradiol valerate, or priced way higher per gram than finished products from good sources. My mental illness has nothing to do with it.

And yeah, I might even pay a small premium for high purity raws so I can ensure the finished product isn't mixed in somebody's grimy bathtub with hints of biker crank, but even sources with more buying power are getting raws at < 85% purity (see recent Neoanabolics post regarding Anadrol).

If you have a good raws supplier still shipping, hook a brother up. But if you tell me that you were smart enough to stock up before all this tariff/crackdown stuff started, I will use my very special set of Liam Neeson skills, and I will find you, and I will sucker punch you in right in the dick.

I didn't stock up because I foresaw a shortage, I stocked up because that's just the way I am. I'm good for many years and I'm pretty happy with dropping that money at the that time. That's how I do everything in my life though.

Same, I just buy once or twice but when I do I buy enough to last me a very long time. Especially with raws what's the point of multiple 100gr buy, lots of shipment, lots of risk. Buy once or twice and be set for life.

How long can raws last, if stored in a vacuum sealed bag away from light? That’s what holds me back from fully doomsday prepping.

15+ years easily, except test E that can last maybe 2 days if you are lucky xD
