Both my parents rip usto be drug addicted. I had bad visions of slin pins, and my wife had too pin me for the first few months before I could ever do it my self. She got tired of doing it for me and taught me/ made me . She’s in the medical field. Now I’m afraid for her to to it to me lol. She comes at me with a harpoon like I’m a whale lol.

So, it was something you saw when you were older, or was it part of most of your life, growing up?
It must have been quite a difficut situation for you to deal with, at a young age.

Feel like folks in the medical field are a bit desensitized to stabbing people haha. Just like “alright come here you hunk of meat…STAB” and then blast that oil into you lol.
The last time I had an injection by a nurse I wanted to critique their choice to use a 22g…like hey you don’t gotta use that gauge for this stuff! I push oil through a 25g!

I think they all use a 23ga 1.5”? For delts glutes anything and they really ram it in.
Scares the crap out of me. When I got the Covid vaccine it felt like I got hit with a jackhammer I couldn’t pick up my arm for a week.

Well one time I had a flu shot years ago at a company clinic and the nurse really rammed it in so hard the needle got stuck in bone and broke off...pain city when nurse tried to remove it. Hurt so bad my arm was useless for a week.
No wonder why I was averse to needles for a good long time till nearly 10 years ago!
