First cycle. Anavar, testosterone, eca, with an Ai. 6'2" 250lb - 212 cut - 232 today. Dexa scan and results inside.

Finally got my final lab results in. I guess I didn't notice fsh/lh wasn't in the test. Would have been nice to see if my nuts were beginning to turn on yet.. Anyways about 30 days into pct i'll get another blood test done for lipids, testosterone, total/free, estrogen, and lh/fsh to see how things are going. Open to suggestions on anything else I should test.

As expected my testosterone was pretty low. It was nearly 30 days since last 200mg pin of testosterone cypionate. At least it wasn't completely crashed.

Tomorrow's a week since beginning clomid and I feel pretty good. My week of low T i felt emotionally short/easily upset. The feeling went away a few days into clomid dosing. 100mg for first 4 days then I dropped it to 50mg before bed.

I got my Nolvadex, not sure if I should begin it since I'm not having any issues with clomid. Was planning on running clomid for 45 days, then 30 days of cleanliness before a final blood test confirming I didn't fuck myself into trt. I feel confident my cycle was reasonably mild but everyone is different.

Probably TMI but my testicles are beginning to hang like they used to. Thanks clomid. As the atrophy occurred I noticed they kinda retracted a bit. Shrank a little too, I didn't want to bang hcg over it as I've read they generally recover well.

Still feel strong in the gym. After a rest day i picked up the 45lb dumbbells to curl and nearly hit myself in the mouth. A bit embarrassing lol. Back to 50s now, about 7-8reps first set, then I push for 5-6 for the following handful of sets. Im trying to tone my workouts down as I'm finding myself pushing to that brink of curling up into a ball between sets and worried that might not be the best during pct/restoring natural function.

I have no real side effects from clomid besides 1970s porn star cum shots. Im excited to get labs done and see how much clomid raised my T

My vascularity still looks suspect. I guess related to lower bf %. I also noticed some bodybuilder posing in a twisted position. So I decided to try it out. I probably should have got a pump on first but we can't all sit around being Instagram models. Its a realistic photo of how I look after 1 short cycle. Not too bad.

This was taken in the morning, no pump, and not flexed.

Ever since the loose skin was brought up i can't stop thinking about having the excess skin removed for future beach purposes lol

Dont worry about the loose skin for now man. Winter is coming, I would hit it hard and put on a little more size and then get really peeled and see how it looks. You would be surprised.
 
I really don't wanna drop below 220lb. Sadly it's happening. I'm thinking some is glycogen as my pectoral muscles seem less pumped but it could be in my head.

Somewhat related question:

What's the soonest you suggest getting blood work during pct with clomid? Do I really need to wait 30 days? While I'm not having any estrogenic effects the thought is stuck in my mind.


Is getting a hormone panel done 3 weeks into pct too early? I will be using privatemdlabs female hormone panel.

I'm paranoid about estrogen but honestly don't have any effects. Should I worry or just man up and wait 30 days?

It takes longer than 3 weeks to recover, and a blood test during PCT does not tell you whether you are recovered but rather that whatever you are taking is stimulating production. Personally, I'd wait 2 months after stopping all PCT to test my testosterone levels if I was cycling off and wanted to know whether I was recovered. It may take longer than that.

Folks are impatient, but suppressing the hpta can mean quite a long recovery process.

I know clomid is typically used for 4-6 weeks, I'm not trying to rush my recovery. I know it can take like 3 months to hopefully return to healthy natural testosterone production.

I know final blood testing should be done 1 month clean of clomid/pct meds.

I generally read that doctors run follow up clomid trt blood work 1 month into use to see how stimulated you are. I know this is not a direct reflection of my recovery. I just wanna see if I need to reduce my clomid dose and check on my hormones.

What I'm wondering is should I worry about my estradiol and hormones before 1 month? I'm probably just overthinking it.
 
Pct update: ~20 days in on 50mg clomid/day

I feel pretty good, though I'm down another lb. 218.2 this morning after bathroom. I'm getting leaner for sure, I have some dimples near my abs now.

Clomid doesn't feel too bad but I do feel more emotional. Like for example i was hugging my gfs dog and thinking about how good of a doggo he is made me wanna cry lol. I take him out kayaking, we go on little hikes and cook food on an msr backpack stove. I'm trying to give the dog his best life. 3 more weeks of clomid use to go!

I'll get blood work in 10 more days. It'll be interesting to see what my T level is on clomid. I'm just curious if it raises my T above natural range, like a mini cycle. If clomid does have my T really high I might stay on it for 8 weeks instead of 6, just to give my body time to hopefully recover for when I cease use of pct medication and try to build more muscle.

Anyways today was an amazing day for me because I wore a tank top to the gym for the first time in my life. I've never felt confident. Well I decided it's now or never. Today is the fuckin day!

Today is also the first time I've done the douchebag thing of taking pics of myself in the weight area.

Doing lateral Flys everyday sure works on delts! I need to start adding some sort of dedicated trap exercise. Time to start farmers walking while shrugged up or something

I appreciate all the replies and will continue to be consistent with my workout. If I can hold near this level of consistency for a year I will do another var/test cycle and hopefully end up shredded.

Here's some data from the last week. Once this day is over my average should be ~4000 calories burned per day.

My tricep looks ridiculous in that locker room photo sooo I took one more. Lighting is hellauv a thing.

This also shows how different you can look pumped up. Feeling flat now but I worked out until I was dying as usual. Best and worst feeling ever.

I wish I could take a photo holding dumbbells. The striations along my shoulders get huge.

Probably on my way to getting banned from planet fitness lol.

I increased my carb consumption as I noticed my recovery time is lengthening. I'm focusing on 2-3 hard gym days followed by 1 day of rest.

Without anavar/T I simply cannot workout 6x a week and go on double gym days. Still I feel good, strong, etc.

It'll be interesting to see how much my lean mass decreased after the cycle wore off on DXA. hoping the water loss didn't raise my body fat % too much on paper.

It'll be my 3rd DXA scan, each one 60 days apart.

Yeah, for sure:

Just note I don't a write down or obsess much about tracking my strength per rep vs everyday as it fluctuates depending on my rest intervals.

Okay so they're 2 planet fitnesses near me with different equipment, different women to look at, and it's just nice to change the environment, lighting is bright in one, dim in the other, etc.

Planet fitness #1

First: Stretches, touch toes, torso rotation, stretch quads and shoulders. Touching my toes always hurts so good! I finish my quick warm up with calf raises on elevated steps. 3-4 sets of burn out.

By this point I'm starting to feel that fight or flight feeling from ephedrine and run off to the fly machine.

Fly machine: I can nearly max this out, I can now fly the 220(sometimes 235) lb setting without cheating by bending my arms in

Set list
1: warm up set 190lb x 10-12
2: 205lb x 10 - 12
3: 220lb x 8-10
4: 220lb x 6-8
(If I feel gangster)
5: 235 x 5 is the goal.

By this point my chest feels pumped and I go off to the weight area

In the weight area I generally try to grab a Smith machine so I can rotate my exercises easily with less pause.

Bicep curls 45lb-50lb depending on how strong I feel. I do these smooth, no jerking bs I see most dudes at planet fitness do.

I probably do 10 sets by the end of session

I curl to failure each time.

Something like

1) bicep curl 45-50lb x 10-12
2)lateral raise 25-30lb x 10
3)Smith machine bench press x 10
just 4 45lbs total ~190lb. Bar weight is listed as 10lb.
4) front raises with dumbbells 25-30lb x 10
5)elevated sit ups on sit up bench x 40 or so, until failure. Depending on angle it could be x 20

I repeat this in the weight area for quite some time. At least 45 minutes. I don't stick to a strict number of sets because I get the urge to spontaneously add bonus sets like when some hot chick starts working out next to me or some dude is staring at me. Motivates me more.


By this point at planet fitness #1 I'm dying.
If my triceps aren't fried from Smith machine bench and all those curls I'll hop on the tricep pull down rope.

I haven't done cardio since the beginning of august but I used to do a shitton while on cycle. Eventually I started feeling like it was just taking too much out of me. Especially as I got closer to the 13% body fat number.

Instead I walk the dog, go hiking, bicycle ride, etc. I'd rather just not eat 200 calories than spend 15 minutes burning my legs on the elliptical machine.

Planet fitness #2 has a huge ab room with proper elevated sit up racks, crunch machine that doesn't hit my freaking elbows, and way better Cable to mirror setups

I'll type it up a bit later but I do the same dumbbell exercises. The difference is the ab room and I also add in squats, leg extensions, lateral pull downs, and cable use
I noticed my shoulders respond incredibly well to cables, in fact pretending you're trying to flip a car over has made a huge difference in how my chest and delts look.


It's planet fitness. It's shunned upon but it did work for me getting into shape. That being said I think the important thing is pushing yourself til you feel like dying.
 
Down to 217.3lb today. I'm just telling myself it's fat from ephedrine use and hopefully my muscle is sticking.

I've added in farmers carrying the dumbbells around the gym after each bicep set. It burns my forearms and pumps my shoulders out!

Decided to share my calves. It's definitely a genetic thing they've always been huge

Last post until my DXA test and follow up lab work around ~October 10th.

It's a weird feeling. I can see people staring at my chest in the grocery store. My bitch tits have nearly disappeared, I think. My stomach fat is still shrinking and some of the skin has tightened up.

My abs are getting deep! I thought you couldn't grow on pct? Wtf is this just fat loss?

Sorry for bathroom pics but my gf is not gonna take pics of me with no shirt to show people online lol. She already is getting a bit.. paranoid that I'm gonna start smashing girls at planet fitness. She can see the eyes I guess.

Update: getting blood drawn around 8am this morning with the $69.69 privatemdlabs deal. DXA scan Friday, my plan is to scan in around ~217-220lb

My weight dropped to 215.7lb last week and I decided to drastically change my diet. I increased my carb intake to nearly normal(100-200/day) and gained 5lb over 2 days. I feel a lot better, though I noticed the aches and pains that come with heavy carb consumption.


I also feel like my body looks more "full" with excess carb/water storage. Maybe a bit more flabby but I don't want to risk any drastic muscle loss just to cut weight for vanity during winter that no one will notice.


Oh lol I went to a halloween/costume event over the weekend with fake tattoos.

I've reached peak douchebag! I couldn't have done it without you Meso!

Woo-hoo more data.

The good news is I only lost the water weight, which is the ~8lb difference in weight. My body fat percentage went up a tiny bit but considering the 8lb water/glycogen weight loss I don't think of it as a failure.

Got my lab results too, will post when I get home. Clomid has my testosterone around ~780 and estradiol 53. I don't think i wanna risk taking aromatic and crashing my estrogen.
