Flaxseed oil versus capsules

Hey guys,

I'm getting ready to run a cycle with some orals and am committed to keeping my liver healthy throughout. I've got the milk thistle and want to incorporate ALA as well. I believe flaxseed oil contains ALA; I have used the oil before by mixing it into shakes and just taking a spoonful like medicine when needed. However, I think also that varoius EFA capsules may contain ALA as well.

What I'm wondering is if it's more effective (bioavailable, if you will) to get your ALA from flaxseel oil as opposed to pills. I have no problems with ingesting the oil but sometimes higher doses can produce some unpleasant gastrointestinal side effects. I'm just curious what you guys have experienced and what you'd recommend as far as optimum liver protection.

Thanks,

GG

One capsule is only one gram of oil, whereas one tablsepoon of flax oil is 14g. Just by looking at that, I would say that you'll get more EFAs from the liquid.
