The reason I haven't been on the board as much lately is due to work obligations and a stepdaughter who uses the computer more for school now. I just don't get as much time to sit down and get on here like I used to, thats all. It has nothing to do with not wanting to be here, trust me
 
Also may I add, I do like helping guys out, but serious guys. Some of the rants back and forth are coming from guys who turn many good posts into a personal attack on one another and it's difficult lately

I always live by the rule of starting out with some sort of abs BEFORE the competition prep. If you were to start dieting right where you're at for competition, you're looking at about a 16 wk prep. You want your abs to be very visible by about 8 wks out, from that point you just dial it in tighter and tighter each week. By 2 wks out you should be ready to go and just holding on. I used to treat every week like the contest was that coming Saturday. When you think you're ready just tell yourself you're not ready enough. I've had plenty of times where I looked in the mirror and thought I was there, but then looked at a photo and thought "WTF"- The pics look different than the mirror does, LOL.
