But I'm concerned about filtering everything at once, and want to refrain from freezing and thawing the gear if possible... I'm thinking that in the process of filtering, oxidation can occur, so the transferred vial of gear will probably not maintain as long as the unfiltered gear when they arrive (and I'm hesitant to freeze all my gear)... in that case, does it just make sense to do "Just in Time" filtering, where you filter just the gear that you plan to use in your next cycle? Or does filtered gear with some oxidation still keep for a pretty long time (e.g. a year or two), in which case I can filter a bunch of vials at once without freezing/thawing?
