Fox News to run steroid story this Sunday

Can someone explain to me how that guy got an infection in his leg and his legs had to be amputated by taking steroids?

The only possible thing that I could come up with is that the dumb fuck didn't use a sterile pin and he kept using the same one over and over in his legs out of all places for what, something like 20 - 25 years he was on them. Well no shit Sherlock that is going to happen.

As for Lyle Alzado, I assume if your doing 5 grams of juice a week with out ever getting off of them and never taking any post cycle recovery or aromatase inhibitors would definately have a negative impact on your life.

I can't stand it anymore,,,Its loaded and I'm ready to shoot myself,,,In the ass with 2.5 cc of mixed aas:D,,,Propaganda,,,Its a kind of manipulative entertainment as was said Reefer Madness,,,It puts their minds on senseless delusions rather than giving any form of deliverance from any real prob,,,"In my haste I said all men are liars.",,,Much easier to oppress and chain up minds than to feed them reality,,,Darkness begets darkness,,,VDC

Fucking idiot deserved to die. Cleaning up the gene pool one at a time.

That's just wrong. And untrue. Being uneducated doesn't mean the kid deserves to die. It's not as if this kid was a bad guy or anything.

His case is all the more reason, in my eyes, to make AAS legal. With legality comes education about how to use them. Instead, this dumbass probably bought some from a guy at the gym, paid way too much, haha, and just did what the "big" guy told him. And no PCT most likely. Result......depression. And in a teenager, depression can lead to suicide. Sad story, but steroids played no role in it. Sorry Fox News.

Did steroids kill this kid? No. The coward killed himself.

"take 1 cc every day for cycles of 7 to 10 days" bwahahahaha

"what if my 16 year old brother wants to use"
-just give him one a week

wow, thats all i have to say. wow.

When I didn't know shit I would have believed it all.But the thing is all of those websites are scammers, or they don't ship to the USA, or Customs will snag it.I mean there are 2 people out of the 3,000,000 + that got a bad effect and they could have both easily been prevented. These people are idiots.

What I find hilarious is how many police officers, fire fighters and public servants that I personally know that use AAS. How many successful businessmen and professionals that use them. It would really surprise the hell out of people, if they really knew. Unfortunately good people are forced to become criminals, because they want to better their lives.

I agree that teens have no business using AAS. The natural testosterone spike at that age is more than enough to help anyone put 20-30 pounds of muscle naturally with the proper diet and nutrition. What irks me about this report is the unsubstatiated claims of losing legs and brain cancer from AAS??? Completely asinine!

ok that made me wanna move to mexico and take a shot right after watchin it....and yea love how that guy said he gain 25lbs off of andro i love to see that..in a month...and i dont know about u guy but i dont wanna kill my self wile im on or off....lol....got love the media...NOT

go to Long Island NY, and youll see so many lawyers, and stock brokers on gear that itll make ur head spin...how many male nurses, and MD's have i met that use gear...i knew a cop in philly that was a steroid user...so for them to make it seem like its something only morons would do is insulting....im far from stupid, im very educated, and i waited many yrs before i got on steroids....and i would never do anything that would kill me, and make the ones i love suffer...i have 3 step children, and we are planing on having one of our own...no way am i gonna do something that could make it to where they have to grow up with out daddy....thats not something that i would even consider, hence why i dont smoke, drink, or use drugs.......LP

it just to bad they don't start airing specials about cocaine and heroin, look how many peoples lives those drugs have fucked up, but they rather point the finger at people who use steroids because it is the "hot" issue right now

Why is he testifying before congress???Roids are already illegal.
What is the hearing about?

What is the hearing about?

It's about the Republican Congress and FOX News marching in lockstep with the Bush Regime. Remember this year's State of the Union address?

>>To help children make right choices, they need good examples. Athletics play such an important role in our society, but, unfortunately, some in professional sports are not setting much of an example. The use of performance-enhancing drugs like steroids in baseball, football, and other sports is dangerous, and it sends the wrong message -- that there are shortcuts to accomplishment, and that performance is more important than character. So tonight I call on team owners, union representatives, coaches, and players to take the lead, to send the right signal, to get tough, and to get rid of steroids now. (Applause.)<<

This is what they talk about because Bush's policies in substantive areas are such an utter failure.

He was most likely testifying for current house (even though house bill allready passed) and senate bills that will make prohormones illegal.

It is known that the type of brain cancer that Alzado had is high in aids patients....and he got his gear from a well known gay doctor. Some have said there may be a connection there. Also he used the GH from cadivers which is known to carry KJ(?) disease.

All pro-hormones will be gone soon and then they will go after the majority of the other supplements. Would not be suprised if they even go after protein powders cause we all know that high protein diets cause kidney failure. I can't stand this BS.

I agree with the arguments here. I DO NOT need the government protecting me from myself. Please.

Noone else has commented on the conspicuous lack of mention of the sport of bodybuilding. You would think they would hammer that because the ENTIRE SPORT revolve around the use of illegal drugs. Believe me , I am glad they left us out of their propaganda presentation. However, I am still curios.

BINGO, you are exactly right. lately, the shit has hit the fan with steroids and nutritional supplements in general. the whole ephedra ban, MLB testing, and BALCO incident have made steroid demonization en vogue with the media.
to take your point a bit farther, how often do you see specials portraying alchohol use and smoking in this light(not to offend anyone here, just making a point). both of those drugs kill hundreds of thousands and ruin countless lives yet, since they are used in the masses, it makes them morally "ok". believe me, i love the USA and am proud to be American, but the cultural bias of drugs here sickens me. we live in a pharmaceutical society....you take a drug for a headache, you take a drug to help you sleep, you take a drug to get over an infection, you take a drug to get rid of acne, you take a drug to prevent getting pregnant, etc........all is fine and dandy unless you take an "evil" drug called steroids to increase your vitality, self confidence, appearance, and mood. why are they evil, because
1."they have no benefit other than for cosmetic use"....but its ok to get oftentimes dangerous plastic surgery to look better because its done by the masses. what about taking accutane to look better. it is very hepatoxic yet its ok because, like above, it is used by the masses.

2."they make you violent towards others"....well, because this falsehood keeps being used as a reason, it gives assholes to lose their temper if they take it. in addition, the demographic of people who use them, naturally are the most aggressive in society. thirdly, if a woman loses her temper and blows up, she is simply losing her temper and getting angry. when a man using anabolics loses his temper, it MUST be from the drugs because men dont get angry....no wait a second(rolls eyes).

3."they are cheating"......cheating whom, nature? if they are used by athletes, one could potentially make a case for it, but two issues arise from this. first, performance enhancing "supplements" have been used dating back to the first olympics in greece. is it fair, then, that the major world powers can provide supplementation, nutrition, and workout regimens light years above other countries? second, is it really cheating when your peers are already doing it and it must be used to put you on their level? in a perfect world, every single athlete on every single level of sports would be subjected to the same tests olympic athletes are for their given sport but it is obviously impossible to do so.
for the recreational bodybuilder, how is he cheating, though? contrary to the medias belief, you dont simply take it and swell up and look like Arnold. it still takes the hard work in the gym and the nutrition to work up to that.

4."they are detrimental to ones health".....that is why they were used in a medical context for so many years then? if this is the case, please show me the studies where it shows that it CAUSES cancer, CAUSES ones kidneys to shut down and CAUSES cirrhosis of the liver. granted, when abused, it may exacerbate such problems, but it has yet to be shown to CAUSE any of the above problems. dont get me wrong, they are not free of side effects(especially in regards to fertility, natrual testosterone levels, and lipid profiles) but as with any drug, caution must be used having full knowledge of the drug is necessary to avoid complications inherent with their use. on the topic of health, it still cracks me up that steroids are so evil, even though they only affect the user, while smoking is deemed acceptable behavior, despite the FACT that second hand smoke kills those around you, in addition to oneself....lol, what a fucked up society we live in.
I could really go on for awhile here, but i just needed to vent after watching that Fox(more like faux) news special. as with any drug, caution must be exercised with its use, but making steroids/prohormones illegal is only going to cause more problems(example...prohibition) than what this drug originally provided. just my .02, for now

Wow man, you couldn't have said it any better. That must have only taken you 10 or 15 seconds to type that response. But I agree totally, this is way overkill, but I mean hell I don't mind it because if it scares others away more of an edge I have.

Goldlifter, you are reading my mind brother. The scary part is the power the media has over many of the general populus. They don't educate themselves and merely parrot what they heard on the nightly news. TV has gone a long way toward completely emasculating this country.
