Franchise24 training log 2016/2017

I have a ninja, too. Didn't have it when i tried the steel cut oats though.

I don't know that this is true, but I read somewhere once that the body didn't digest raw oats as well and that one minute oats were your best bet in shakes since they blow up quick.
Interesting. Our bodies are truly an enigma. All the research in the world will never completely figure us out.

Yeah, you never really know. A lot of stuff you read you'll find just as much saying the opposite. I've always done the minute oats for my shake since just in case since the macros and cost are the same.

I did research on an OTC supplement called policosanol. I found medical journals stating that it help raise your HDL. And other journals that their research was inconclusive. I take this supp on cycle and for the most part my HDL is always within range. Who knows for sure.

I think I've taken that before. Lipids on cycle really concern me. I read about high dose niacin helping and then read that it was actually bad to use it like that.

Give policosanol a try two pills a day split morning evening. It works for me but I can't guarantee it will work for you. I've had blood pressure taken while running 700mgs tren 700mgs test 700mgs mast and Var and my blood pressure was at 118/74.

Forgot to mention I was doing maybe one day of cardio at the time.

@Perrin Aybara these are the 3 I take together and my lipids always come back in range. I've never run a cycle without them. So I don't know how my lipids would be affected without these supps. Maybe my lipids would be good without these supps. But it's worth a try. They relatively cheap.

I've actually never been to my current doctor. I got insurance for the first time in my life last year and they assigned me one. Planning on going soon to get a referral for the chiropractor so my insurance will cover it.

See if they'd prescribe you fish oil. It's much better than anything in the vitamin stores. Good thing your insurance covers chriopract work. Mine doesn't. But I go every week.

This was a great workout. Even though I had that failed attempt on the last rep of the last set of close grip bench. Workout was good. Especially for a late night workout. I tried hard to get that last rep up. I don't use leg drive when doing close grip or rep work. So I got to 9 locked it out and said ok lets get it down and drive, but nope. :) All good next time I will smash that shit with 315.

My strength is through the roof. I don't want to push it fast still early in the program and cycle. I came to the conclusion I need more volume work. I need to build some more muscle through volume reps schemes in the 8-15 range.

I will use the same programing template but going to through a volume block. I will work up to top set of a double or tripe then drop down for volume work. Gotta take advantage to build more muscle while I have all this gear in me. I am on mega doses. :D I am not worried about losing the strength it is going through the roof. The added muscle and hitting different muscle fibers will increase my lifts in the long run. And also improve on technique as well.

Usually take today off, but had to get out of the house and an hormonal wife. Wasn't a big heavy workout. But I got a nice pump in. And this gave that extra back workout that I need weekly.

I forgot to mention. I've used the Donnie.Thompson Bowtie for every workout since receiving it. Definitely can feel a difference. Shoulders are not feeling beat up. They never really did. But I'd get some twinge in my left shoulder. Nothing now.

I have to add I've also been diligent with my mobility work, and see my chiropractor every week.

I'm probably gonna have to get one.
It's simple be awesome tool. I don't believe can you just wear this alone without doing the necessary rehab/rehab and mobility work for your shoulders. This just adds to. For bench it really forces you shoulders to stay back. Scaps retracted and down. It is worth it. I will be getting the one size smaller. Just for deads and Bench. I want something more aggressive. Hopefully with in a months time with the bowtie mobility work and chiro I will feel like a kid. Even though the deca has me doing things I haven't been able to do since I was younger.
