Franchise24 training log 2016/2017

I have so many comments for this post... No homo.. Lmao.

On another note.. Those things are supposed to be pretty good... Let me know how you find it...
So far so good. Had my buddy work my lat where it inserts into the armpit. Worked it into where pec inserts into shoulder. And I did my quads. I rolled my quads and used the ends as a trigger point for my hip flexors. I'll give more feedback the more I use it.

You like that sling shot? Which one do you have? I keep thinking about Getting the level 2 one. Full boar I think it's called
I have the yellow one where the sleeves are angled a bit and the level 4 black one. It works if implemnted correctly.

Bench Daddy is another alternative. They have a single ply one and one that doubles has single and double ply.

I'll eventually get the Bench Daddy and see how it compares. Here is the link to Bench Daddy.

Thanks buddy, I'll check it out. I'm going to buy one eventually.

Lol. I slept in after breakfast which 2000 calories. Then ate lunch another 2000 calories. Now I'll be going back to sleep in a few. I'm weighing in at 213. Trying to get to 218 for my meet. Then eat good after the 24 hour weigh in.

with how close you are to the meet, the extra weight might not help you and actually hurt you. the way it was explained to me is your body wont have time to fully utilize the new added weight and leverages. just be careful with how quickly you put the weight on at this stage of the game.

you have any TNE or suspension for the meet?

Yes Suspension and tren suspension. I was 215-218 before my kids got here this summer. I hate horribly while they were here. Or I didn't eat enough. I lost weight. I usually walk around 218-220 throughout the year.

I agree with you. I don't want to get to 220 now. But 215 -216 shouldn't be to bad. What do you think?

215-217 area should be fine. personally i felt and lifted better at a non bloated beyond full stomach all the time. my last blast i was up to 254 at one point and felt and lifted better 10lbs lighter at 244.

Got it. I've gotten up to 242 last winter bulk. I'm 5'9". I'll try that again next blast. After this blast my body needs a good break. I need to detox.

Comp Deadlift:
135 1x5
225 1x5
315 1x5
365 1x1
405 1x1
455 1x1
475 1x1 RPE 8

Using Prilepin's Chart for Optimal volume I dropped down to 365 and did sets of 3 and 4 until I hit 15 reps.

I fucked up on comp squat I was suppose be in the 75% Range and fucking lost track of what I was doing and went into the 85% range.

Comp Squat:
145 1x5
235 1x5
325 1x3
415 4x2 RPE 8

I have comp bench tomorrow at 80% so 15 reps at about 300 if I feel good I will go up 315-330. If not 300 is fine. I will have accumulated enough fatigue this week. Next Volume is cut down and intensity up a tad bit but only working up to a heavy triple on each main lift and calling it a day. Monday, Wednesday and Friday will be my training days next week.

I have been working on getting back to 220. I had dropped to 207-210 while my kids were here. So I upped my caloric intake this week. The scale in my house sucks horse ass. Keeps telling me that I am at 211-213. To my surprise when I go to pull and put my deadlift belt on It was tighter than usual. I then go weight myself and I am at 218. LMAO!!! Time to throw the scale in the house out.

I also forgot to mention I will be heading to @Johnny442 gym on Monday and meet with the owner to see if he can help get somewhat use to a monolift. I also will ask if he knows of anyone going to the meet that I could be my handler at least wrap my knees.

@theprodgicalson I believe you posted something about this guy and two other that benched over 600. But Jeremy was the most impressive to me being that he weighed less than the other 2 at 242. I am going to put this video here for motivation.
