Fruit and fat gain

They're quite nice and give a bit of crunch in the yoghurt. I prefer granola but bran flakes are good for a change and easier to digest than raw oats.
Yes, muesli is delicious. But after them I quickly feel hungry, so carbohydrates are more like rice or potatoes. Potatoes are low in carbs and high in volume. And add a little coconut oil and it's generally cool.

I prefer a light breakfast bro. I can't eat rice and spuds as my first meal after waking up.

....and yet you still felt the need to post a reply in it and give a pointless opinion???

Mmm...
Yeah I came off a bit harsh there. Well it's not the first time I've heard people going after fruit for potential physique and health problems, I just strongly disagree with them, but the reason why I comment is to give newbies who are potentially reading this and are already lost in a quagmire of fitness bullshit some perspective

And tell me the connection between fruit picking and people's physiques. As for me, the same fast carbohydrates, which are not yet deposited in muscle glycogen, but go to the fat depot. If only to unload the head. So for me it’s better to eat something else, delicious rice or delicious potatoes, and sweet potatoes can generally be made as a sweet.!

I'm seeing positive changes already from switching to bran over raw rolled oats and not eating pineapple everyday for breakfast...for anyone that's interested in this topic.

My stomach has shrunk to half the size and no more pain or bloating/distension within 7 days of the dietary change.

Great effect. I think pineapple, especially constantly on the stomach, does not always work well.

Pineapple and raw rolled oats in my greek yoghurt were definitely not a good idea for me.

I'm on bran now with some apple/pear/orange/nuts/berries and all my problems have disappeared within 1 week.

Grapefruit interacts with intestinal enzyme CYP3A4 (also referred to as P450) which reduces the amount of drug metabolized increasing the amount of drug making it to the bloodstream.

The medical world treats this as a negative, my take is there’s a possibility to use less gear while being just as or more effective (in my experience).

Pro tip: I am not a physician and as such as not giving you advice on trying to effect your CYP3A4 enzyme as it is an important one. I am not on any other prescription medication. You should investigate prior to experimenting at a minimum.

I don't believe that CYP3A4 inhibitors such as (white) grapefruit juice (specifically white) will slow down the metabolism of testosterone. If you look at the enzymes involved, there are only two enzymes which I can find that metabolize testosterone, that is CYP19 (aka aromatase), and 5α-reductase which forms test into DHT.

CYP3A4 is a very common metabolic pathway for many oral drugs, and MAY be involved with the metabolism of other injectible or oral steroids (I don't know offhand, but could do some research), but testosterone isn't one of them I am afraid. The only way to slow down metabolism of test is to take aromatase inhibitors (which inhibit CYP19) or finasteride (which inhibits 5alpha-reductase).

As I said, WGFJ could be relevant for other steroids though. I'm interested so when I have time this weekend I'll peek into it and post back what I find. Perhaps it is worthy of its own thread if the findings are promising enough!

Read about this the other day and could only find from quick literature review (focusing on orals, disregarding injectables) that there is a studied increase in potency of AIs, and reduced potency for Nolvadex. Found anecdotal evidence that Dianabol is affected and potentially Anadrol. Since the review didn't give any satisfying conclusion, decided to test this in the following weeks with Anadrol and Dianabol. Grapefruit is not the only citrus/fruit which affects the enzyme(s) so in the following weeks I will be testing multiple different kind of citrus sodas and juices from nearby shop at 0.5l/day to see if I will experience increased potency from my regular oral doses.

Sadly the results of this experiment will only be anecdotal and empirical so others might not find any use for them, but if it feels like it works I will definitely be adding a regular dose of citrus juices to my oral cycles.

keep us updated, its still interesting to hear how it works out for you.

At the very least, it would be great if you shared these observations and conclusions that you draw here. It would be very helpful.

I was planning on updating the progress here roughly every week or so, but I guess I could start with explaining the how and the initial results.

Literature said the most effect would be gained by taking the juice 1-4h before the "medication". But also noted that there would not be a large difference between regular dosing of the juice roughly every 12h to keep the enzyme levels down. So since I will be taking 12.5mg Dianabol and 25mg Anadrol twice a day, I will time my juices (~250ml) along those times (morning dose and PWO/afternoon dose).

I will test 2-3 juices at a time for few days to more quickly filter what works. When/if I see some potentiating effects I will single out the juice causing it. And after singling it out, I will do Dianabol and Anadrol alone to see which one is affected or if it is both. Focus is on citrus juices/sodas, but literature also mentions that other fruits might also be affected as they might contain polyphenols, furanocoumarins, flavonoids and naringin. So expect to see some weird ones as well. Based on the amount of options at the store(s), I'd assume this will in total take somewhere from 1 to 2 months.

I'm not expecting much from this experiment, since if there was a noticeable interaction I'd think that international bodybuilding broscience departments would have been spouting about it for ages. At least in the junkie circles I've hung around even the most novice of users would sometimes ask "Are you gonna take grapefruit juice with that?". If I don't find a juice/soda which will have the effect, I will be testing the actual fruits (reason I'm not starting with them is because I like juices more than actual fruits). I'm expecting lot of zero results and I will not bother more on those, but the "winner" of this experiment will get described even though it will most likely be domestic or at best regional (Nordic) so the brand/language would not mean much to 99.9% of people here. But you might find something similar based on the description.

Other gear run along the orals during this experiment will be weekly doses Test (200mg), Tren (320mg), Equipose (400mg) and Deca (250mg). It is is a bulk. When I find if some oral is potentiated, I will be testing few times off the juice and on the juice in few day cycles (literature said that the fruits would have effect lasting up to 72h).

Results (I will update this list to keep a record what I've tested):
-Cheapest store brand grapefruit soda (from concentrate) ZERO
-Regional brand grape juice (note not grapefruit but wine grape) ZERO
-Store brand pineapple-mandarin juice ZERO
