Well i know you said you grew up in kind of a little backwoods small town so i guess i do understand, i grew up in more rural areas so even though my folks werent like that as they grew up out west and up in th north, i saw how most of my friends parents raised them and alot of them have similar attitudes.
So i guess i cant really give you shit for it, just a product of your environment.

The only way I act differently around gay people is I try to refrain from using words like fag or calling my friends gay or whatever.
Not really sure if my gay aquatiences would even care. Just a respect thing I guess.

Put it this way. When I was 4 I had my first sleep over. I went to my buddies house with a black garbage bag that had a spare change of clothes. When I got back my dad kicked my ass. After I stopped crying I asked him what I did. He said, "YOU FORGOT THE FUCKING RUBBER BAND!"...... The fucking rubber band that he used to tie the black bag shut... He wasn't mad that I lost the rubber band, we had a bag with probably 1,000 of them in it. It was because of the principle of me showing responsibility. Lol.

In all sincerity, I hope you develop a more open mind as you grow older. Feeling the need to react with violence because someone is not the same as you, with that kind of hate in your heart, is no way to live.
Although, it would be kind of ironic that if you commit the hate crime you're talking about, you'll get to have a boyfriend in prison. At least you won't be pissed for "not doing something".

Hey, I'm all for trying to be more happy and compassionate. Lol. It's something I've struggled with my whole life. I know I need to change, but at the same time the inner me just really doesn't give a fuck about anyone but himself. I also don't like hurting people and try my best not to, but with the way I was raised, mixed with the time I've sat has given me a pretty fucked up thought process. Lol. The thing is, where I come from I'm just a normal person. In more populated cities, people like me are looked at like nut jobs. Lol.

i dont care what people do in there bed room its there own business i have a good friend that is and been out to the clubs and he never overstep his friendship ive gotten laid by some bad ass chicks at those clubs girls think your gay and they find out your not guaranteed lay
I agree that it's their own business what anybody does, but what are those girls that your laying doing at that club in the first place? If their bi-sexual, there's probably a lot of bi-sexual males there also. Whats so special to them to be layed by a straight guy?

Alot of straight girls go to gay clubs because they feel it's a safer environment i think. Not as much chance of some guy trying to dste rape them because the kind of guys that date rape girls probably are the same guys that wouldn't feel comfortable in a gay joint.
I've seen what PI22 is referencing. personally, I have no clue why it closes the deal but it practically does. I think it helps eliminate risk, makes the comfort level skyrocket
