Would this lower the cost of HGH? I don’t know how much the pens cost in comparison to GH.

The US Food and Drug Administration has approved the first generic competitor to EpiPen and EpiPen Jr. for the emergency treatment of allergic reactions in adults and children.
The company Teva Pharmaceuticals gained approval to market the new generic drug, according to an announcement from the FDA on Thursday.
Brendan O'Grady, http://www.tevapharm.com/about/teva_corporate_officers/brendan_ogrady/ at Teva, noted in an emailed statement Thursday that the approval "marks an important step forward in bringing our patients additional prescription medications that have met the FDA's rigorous standards."

Nice and about time, as the Mylan EpiPens are $700 a pop and both my nephews have food allergies and the insurer increased the copay for them to $200 each. Generics will go a long way in tamping down drug prices.

Hopefully we will see more generics start coming out in due time.
