Yes, pretty much by the book. First six months I stayed at 2.5 and 5 mg, then every four weeks I bumped it up by 2.5 mg until I reached 15 mg. On some doses I stayed a bit longer than four weeks, but it was all good.Did you work your way up to 15mgs ?
Try 5mgs 3 times a week. Thats where I’m at and feel greatYes, pretty much by the book. First six months I stayed at 2.5 and 5 mg, then every four weeks I bumped it up by 2.5 mg until I reached 15 mg. On some doses I stayed a bit longer than four weeks, but it was all good.
Pinned 15 mg Tirz before bed last night and woke up feeling like I got the absolute shit beaten out of me with a bat for eight hours straight. No idea what the hell that was, but I’m still in shock. After vacation I’m definitely dropping the dose. Any smart way to do it? Should I play nice and taper down, or just say “fuck it” and jump straight from 15 to 5 mg and call it a fresh start?
drop down to 5mg. tirz has such a long half life it'll feel natural.Pinned 15 mg Tirz before bed last night and woke up feeling like I got the absolute shit beaten out of me with a bat for eight hours straight. I would not pin for at least a week and then start over with a more reasonable dosePinned 15 mg Tirz before bed last night and woke up feeling like I got the absolute shit beaten out of me with a bat for eight hours straight. Really? isn't it also the maximum dose?He had titrated up to that dose and been on it for a while. 15mg is the most common maintainance dose.

Speaking of skin irritation anyone found a solution to this? I have rotated abdomen sides made sure everything is clean and dry, new Bac water etc and every time I get a giant spot and irritation. Nothing for the old lady with the same process.Try 5mgs 3 times a week. Thats where I’m at and feel great

Skin irritation is only side I experience

Have you tried upping your protein to 300g a day? I'm a former fat ass and that is the only thing that stopped the hunger. Lyle Macdonald has great stuff on diet.I am definetly a responder to Tirzepatide. Before Tirz I was 30lbs heaver than I am now, and that was me doing my absolute best with diet and training to keep my weight down. If I hadn't been trying at all I would have been worryingly obese. I have an absurd appetite, always been like this since I was a kid. I tried sema before tirz and 0.25mg of pharma Ozempic gave me the worst stomach pain and nausea of my life (it made me litterally bedbound for a few days) used it for 3 weeks amd ditched it.
Tirzepatide DEFINETLY works for me, I just think that being lower bodyfat is unnatural for my body, so it fights back.
Before Tirz the leanest I had gotten was 15% bf or so and it was a grind. maintained for only like 1 month before balooning back up to 30+% bf. now I am at 13-14% (I guess) and I have to put a good amount of effort to maintain it, but still nowhere near as much effort as I had to put in before to even get below 20%

I sometimes did eat that much protein but now I try to keep it under 200g since I don't need any more than 150g relistically. That much protein will create a lot of ammonia and oxidative stress. Excessive protein intake also ages you faster and puts strain on your heart and kidneys. tbh I haven't found that eating more than 150-200g of protein satiates me much. just feels like a waste of money and health when vegetables, tubers, legumes and fat sources would be cheaper and healthier.Have you tried upping your protein to 300g a day? I did eat 300g+ of protein for some periods of time but now I understand it was just dumb and expensive for me. I felt fuller but still had cravings. I think that eating 150-200g max and having more fats and high fiber carbs is the smarter way to go
