Curious if anyone here has any experience. I can’t imagine LE going after someone ordering 500-1000 bucks worth of shit online. I see so many people worried about it and what not.

Oh like they shipped something and it was a conspicuous return address?Well, there's been some members here that have gotten visits from Postal Inspectors regarding packs shipped that had a suspicious return address.
Any idea what that visit entails? I’m curious.Well, there's been some members here that have gotten visits from Postal Inspectors regarding packs shipped that had a suspicious return address.

Yes I’ve mentioned it before , and probably giving away to much info but I’ve been with UPS some years worked inside on the belt and a driver , it’s real relaxed, never seen a issue go down , Ihave smelt pot from time to time but no one’s yelling ( hey guys I got pot!) we just keep grinding , real fast pace, barely time to even check your phone . We’re getting it in there hoping another treadmill doesn’t come down the belt . Then half the part timers go smoke their pot on belt . Take that for what it’s worthi'm sure they would take a slam dunk case if it fell into their laps, but i think *most* domestic sources are careful enough to make sure their packages look like any other random package that rides down the conveyer belt.

Considering how many pot cases are made by USPS catching shipments, I would say your experience is not typical at all. BUT, with that having been said, the USPS has a five year old program for suspected marijuana. They are grabbing the box and sending a letter asking for permission to open it. If they get no response, they consider it abandoned and open it.Yes I’ve mentioned it before , and probably giving away to much info but I’ve been with UPS some years worked inside on the belt and a driver , it’s real relaxed, never seen a issue go down , Ihave smelt pot from time to time but no one’s yelling ( hey guys I got pot!) we just keep grinding , real fast pace, barely time to even check your phone . The Bumstead thread talks about it and shares some other stories. There are others who have been caught and prosecuted with personal amounts whose stories were not shared there. Another poster talked about his decade old experience within the last month. If I recall correctly, he got a felony conviction. While you can't imagine it, that does not mean it does not happen. It does. It absolutely does. Why do you think safety is stressed so heavily here?Curious if anyone here has any experience. Depends on a lot of things, but if you live in a state that takes drugs seriously, it entails an arrest and a thorough search of your entire home and a trip to jail until you can get before a judge for a bond setting and then arrange to get bonded out. Then a felony prosecution on down the road.Any idea what that visit entails? I’m curious.
Yes I understand , I don’t know how different usps is from ups , I’m assuming the initial catch point is when the dealer drops it off at the ups store or drop box, because once it’s on the feeder truck ( 18 wheeler) they deliver it and back it up to the hub and all boxes are unloaded and then handles by part time employees and then goes in the truck , and no drivers or part time employees are really worried other then finishing their job and going home . Again just talking from what I’ve seen in my career . Thanks for sharing your info though .Considering how many pot cases are made by USPS catching shipments, I would say your experience is not typical at all. They do not use the evidence for criminal prosecution purposes, according to a USPS policy. I have not read the policy and do not know if that includes a prohibition on sharing the information with local law enforcement, but since they do not use a warrant they probably do not. Almost 60,000 boxes were seized from the mail in 2019 alone.
Then they mail all of these somewhere - I read a news article recently saying more than 200 of these shipments disappeared, presumed stolen by USPS personnel who know what they contain.
This is just for marijuana and mostly when somebody smells it through the box.
Yea again my story is prob irrelevant bc most don’t use ups , and we are dealing with a lot more volume , each man loads about 1000 packages between 3 trucks a night , I’m sure postal service is differentDOH! I thought you said you worked for USPS, LOL! Sorry for the confusion.
