Gs anyone actually gotten busted with shipments to their house?

Feds (USA) actually executed a search warrant on my house (more than a decade ago now) for non-steroid related items (they didn't find any because there was no basis to find anything in the first place...) but they did find my steroids and they found a small vial of what they assumed was marijuana seeds.

Steroids found:
Roughly 15 vials of finished oils (Test, Tren, and Mast), some AI's without a script.

Of those 2 finds (the roids and the suspected seeds) which do you think they cared about?

If you picked the steroids you are incorrect. They couldn't have given the smallest of fucks about those. The agent in charge literally told the searcher "No one gives a fuck." when they found the steroids.

They damn near shit themselves in excitement when they found the vial of seeds though. I believe they assumed I was a supplier for growers or something?

Imagine their disappointment when they ran field test after field test only to find out: The vial was a vial of catnip for my cats.

They left after. No charges filed, nothing done about the steroids, they literally left the steroids with me.

Make of that what you will.

Even if they confiscated the steroids they wouldn't have been able to prosecute. Warrants must be very specific in what they're looking for, if its not listed on the warrant there is nothing they can really do other than confiscate. The paperwork with no case probably made it not worth the time.

Customs has stepped up their game and I’ve had countless shipments seized. Mostly other drugs/chemicals but also anabolics to. As long as it’s not a schedule 1 or not in large amounts you’ll just get a letter in the mail.
Find a better source who have good shipping agents. It was a long time i found good one. I have been seized years ago, but no visits, just took my package. Nothing serious.

That's just not true.

So if they come in and serve a search warrant for your steroids, and, in executing that warrant, they discover your sex slaves chained up in your personal dungeon and the bodies of dozens of past sex slaves, they must just shrug and say, "Oh, well, I guess they are not listed in the warrant."

Of they serve a steroid search warrant and find your cocaine processing plant in the bunker dug out under your basement, just too bad for them because it was not listed in the warrant?

LOL!

Anything they find during execution of a search warrant is fair game for prosecution. While there are a few exceptions to this rule, it is the rule.

Don't get too lax. Its the Feds. Remember, Marijuana is still Schedule 1. Gear is 3. I am supposing thats why they went the way they did?
Back in the late 90's I was busted in an ecstasy distribution ring. I was being followed before and after. A couple of weeks after the initial sweep I was at an apt I was renting with a gf.
I was separated from my wife and she and I split time at our family home so the kids could live in their home uninterrupted. Every other week I left the house and stayed at my apt. The local PD raided my apt one morning. The warrant said they received several complaints about excessive traffic at all hours. It was bullshit. I had people over often but there wasn't any sales going on.
I had a small amount of weed and one vial of Test with a couple of ml's in it. I was charged with the weed and the gear and ended up with a felony possession conviction for the gear.
Not the same as you were asking about. I wasn't caught receiving gear in the mail but thought it might be relevant?

Obviously you have never been served with a search warrant or been somewhere during the execution of a search warrant. You had to take things to the extreme but a warrant does not give the right to search for anything. When obtaining a warrant you must be very specific or you will be denied. Just a quick copy and paste below.

The police can search only the place described in a warrant and for only the property that the warrant describes. They cannot search a house if the warrant specifies the backyard, nor can they search for weapons if the warrant specifies marijuana plants. However, that doesn't mean that officers can seize only those items listed in the warrant. If, in the course of their search, police officers come across contraband or evidence of a crime that is not listed in the warrant, they can often seize it.
If the warrant specifies a certain person to be searched, the police can search only that person, unless they have independent probable cause to search other persons who happen to be present at the scene. If an officer merely has a reasonable suspicion that an onlooker is engaged in criminal activity, she can only detain and question the onlooker and, if necessary for her safety, conduct a frisk for weapons (but not a full search). (For more on this topic, see below.) (Ybarra v. Illinois, 444 U.S. 85 (1979), Michigan v. Summers, 452 U.S. 692 (1981).)

So, they went after you because you had initially drawn heat because of the distribution sting operation. Were your kids at least young enough at the time to not really understand what was going on?

I said the can confiscate, but your not getting charged with possession.

You certainly could be charged with possession or even intent to distribute. I have no idea why you would think otherwise.

This is why the Feds were so excited by my vial of "seeds" even though the warrant had nothing whatsoever to do with them.

As long as the find was on the premises searchable to the warrant incidental finding of criminal activity CAN be charged. They aren't AWLAYS charged because as in my example the US DA didn't care about steroids but would have cared DEEPLY about weed.

While understanding and knowing your rights is vitality important, I think it also pays to hire professionals. When I had established myself in my career I got a lawyer on retainer. I knew I could get in some heat in the 90s about PED use. Never needed the lawyer but knowing someone was there to talk to when I had questions and had a plan if I caught some heat was reassuring to say the least.

The site in my link is an excellent resource for understanding the basics of Search Warrants.

Which is what I said in my first post. I said the can confiscate, but your not getting charged with possession. He disagreed with entire post which was accurate.
You are just wrong. Simple as that. See @biggerben69's post right above the one you started with the word "Obviously" right before stating something that is neither obvious nor factually correct.

This is not a matter of opinion. There is no law whatsoever that prevents prosecution for unrelated crimes discovered during the execution of a search warrant, as biggerben69 and many other Americans have discovered in the past, are discovering today, and will be discovering tomorrow.

Googling stuff does not substitute for reading comprehension. The stuff you quoted does not contradict what I have written. Stop trying to be the "winner" by using words like "Obviously" and read the stuff you Google. Then think about it a while with a perspective of trying to learn and not merely cherry picking a few words you think might support the preconceived notion you already held in your head (which is the opposite of learning).

The cardinal rule of shipping to home is that your home had better be squeaky clean.

1. All steroids have to be gone.
2. Sharps containers have to be empty and cleaned if you reuse.
3. Syringes and needles have to be gone.
4. All financial records..check books, bank statements, investments, anything that has a link to your banking or finances.
5. All cash has to be out of the house.
6. All passwords to any accounts has to be stored in a waterproof container and buried underground somewhere on day of shipment.
7. All memory/storage devices have to be wiped clean, every last one of them. Nothing can be found that has any reference to aas.
8. One should drive around your block and neighborhood to make sure there are no cops before receiving pack.
9. Tape something to the outside mailbox lid that will fall out when the pack is placed in box(I prefer a small colored wire), so you know when someone has dropped off your mail instead of checking it over and over which looks suspicious.
10. Retrieve pack walk around the back of your home(never walk into the garage or front door) with a sharpie and write "Return to Sender" and placed the pack outside your front door and let it sit there until 2 a.m. If you have a doorbell camera place black electrical tape over the camera so it doesn't record what you're doing. Matter of fact you'd be better off disabling any security cameras you have on day you are to receive your pack.
11. Wrap pack in tin foil to block tracking device, walk with pack down to a park after midnight in a secluded spot, open pack using gloves, take contents out, trash packaging and walk back to your house. If there is a tracking device, with your garden spade bury the device wrapped in tin foil at the park and leave. Never destroy a tracking device as you will have to pay for it if you are eventually busted.

12. Space your packs out and vary your sources, you don't want to use the same reshipper over and over as you never know when a reshipper could rat everyone out.

It would just be easier to stay natty.

If all this subterfuge was required to get a few vials, i think i would find a different hobby.

#11 is gold. i'd be more afraid of getting shot or robbed in the park after midnight than i would of being busted.

If you have a quick way of eliminating the packaging for raws such as shredding and flushing down the toilet that would work as well. However you don't want to have packaging around if you have to quickly dispose of your shipment.

Thankfully my level of paranoia isn't necessary for most people, but when you have considerable shipments sitting in your mailbox you'd be lying if you weren't a little nervous about getting busted. So it's better to overthink the process.
