You basically eat around 1.25g/lb of lean protein sources like skinless chicken breast, turkey, etc and take in some fish oil to meet minimum fat needs. Any carbs you take in are trace from certain veggies. You do a weekly or every other week refeed depending upon your stats. It minimizes muscle loss bc of the higher protein intake which the HCG diet lacks.
