HCG Diet

He will overeat usually at night to make up for not eating. He is twice my size and lifted half the weight when i got him to go to the gym with me on shoulder day. I only had him do half the sets and reps and he couldnt lift his arms the next day and hasnt gone back with me lol that was 2 years ago

The workout needs to be tailored to his status. You're in much better shape and can take the stress. He's not and will not handle it as well.

I'm going back to school this fall to major in exercise science
Man I have been looking into the same thing for the last year. I think getting on the road to be a physical therapist would be pretty cool. Kinda cool seeing someone post that.

Yea, I tried but apparently overestimated his abilities due to his size. I'm going back to school this fall to major in exercise science so hopefully I'll learn a thing or 2 in those regards.

Make sure you get an accredited degree from a good school. A good base in kinesiology, anatomy, physiology etc will help.

I was asked by several brothers in the Underground to post about the HCG Diet.

I was at 302 pounds and about 36 body fat when I started. That was the heaviest I ever was. My wife had started about 2 weeks before me and I decided to give it a shot. This physician assisted program is NOT cheap, but apart from the Adipex, everything else can be acquired relatively cheap.

The protocol is this: 6 weeks of HCG, at 100 - 125 iu's per day in the stomach. To curb the appetite, we were prescribed Phentermine (Adipex). The diet was rough: 500 calories per day of totally clean eating. For breakfast you could have half a grapefruit, an apple or an orange and a protein shake - no sugar or garbage like aspartame or Sucralose (I believe our stuff was made with Stevia). Lunch consisted of the other half of that grapefruit and 4 ounces of chicken or lean, grass fed beef and possibly one cup of a vegetable (usually broccoli or green beans). Dinner consisted of 4 oz. grass fed beef or chicken and 1 cup of green vegetables. Sometimes we would have a salad. We went VERY sparingly on the dressing. Our treat was going to Texas Roadhouse and getting the salad, green beans and a 6 oz. steak.

They said if you stalled on the weight loss to either eat steak for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a day or eat 6 apples. For some reason, those reactivated the HCG and kicked the fat loss back in.

Weekly B12 injections were given to help with energy and seemed to help with the weight loss as well. Under Armour's "My Fitness Pal" and a digital food scale became our new toys. No heavy exercise was allowed. We walked 5000 to 7000 steps or more every day as our exercise. I started in November 2015 at 302 lbs and by March 2016 I was at 210. My body fat dropped to 21% and the muscle I lost was utterly sickening. I could barely press 20 lb dumbbells over my head. Women were lifting more than me!

The HCG portion and 500 calories per day lasted 6 weeks. By week 7 we were allowed to go up to 750 calories per day, maximum of 900.

There are numerous other things you can eat on the diet, but no sweets, no sugars, no starches, no white vegetables including corn, etc. I don't have the paperwork on the diet we could actually eat, but what I outlined is what I ate ALL the time. It's definitely not for everyone and you have to be disciplined. If anyone wants to try this, talk to your doctor about getting them to prescribe you the Phentermine. Some states like mine have stupid strict laws and only allow you to be on it for 2 months, then off 6. If you can't get a doctor to prescribe it, find one! It's the only way you'll be able to do this diet.

I'm sure I've left room for a lot of questions and I'll try to answer them as you guys ask.

Yea you "left out" that part where the FDA has in many ways discredited if not openly criticized, the "HCG DIET" as being baloney.

Why in fact the FDA forbids the contextual advertisement of HCG as a dietary supplement!

Sorry @Dr JIM not going to get into a pissing contest with you, but I personally couldn't care less what the FDA approves or disapproves. These are the same people that approve chemotherapy as a cancer treatment yet ban cannabis or discredit it.

Wrong the FDA is charged with enforcing legislation enacted by CONGRESS.

And that includes ensuring
DRUGS such as HCG can live up to the claims cited by unscrupulous resalers using scientific evidence.

And HCG as a bariatric drug is pure baloney yet if you have SCIENTIFIC evidence to the contrary post it.
