Hello.
I have a question regarding hcg on blood work does it supress lh? Or will it show elevated?
Previously was blast/crisis for 5 years .

I’ve been on doctors fertility protocol and it’s been 90 days using the below drugs . (no AAS in 90-100 days)

HCG 2500iu 3x week
Clomid 50mg every other day
I added aromasin 12.5mg 2x week
I recently added HMG 75 iu 2x week

Sperm count has gone up to around 25million started at 15million . But my labs were still showing suppression, is it from the hcg?

Test 17nmol. Range in Canada is 8-28
fsh 0.3
Lh 0.1

Anything that raises testosterone or estradiol will suppress LH/FSH. Even your own natural T/E will suppress LH/FSH but not to a high degree. So yes hCG can suppress LH/FSH if you have a response in T/E production. Often clomid will still work with hCG, but sometimes it doesn’t which is when hmg is used instead. Either way you already had an improvement in the first growth cycle of sperm so I wouldn’t be too concerned, especially working with a dr. Usually they start with either hCG or clomid by itself before they mix but your dr is going in strong.

I have been through something similar myself fella brother.
I question clomid rx when using hcg and menopur/hmg.
25000 ius 3x a week seems too much. I was prescribed 1000ius of hcg 3x a week with 75iu hmg 3x a week.

What was estrogen on 2500iusx3 of hcg?
Also look at sperm motility and morphology in addition to count when aiming fertility

Yeah it’s pointless to take clomid and hmg/fsh as the latter is providing you with ready to go fsh or FSH/LH so clomid is not really needed. Besides past a certain point more FSH won’t make a difference.

HCG will increase estrogen and testosterone, while dropping LH and FSH. Remember, HCG mimics LH in the body, which signals the pituitary glands to stop producing LH - after all, why would your body produce LH when it thinks you have too much already? Once you stop using HCG, testosterone and estrogen will drop, and LH and FSH will slowly rise back up.

Given your LH and FSH are just below the middle of the normal range and your test is low end of normal range, I would recommend first getting a sperm analysis test that includes motility, morphology and count of course to establish a base line. if analysis is not good then you would be fine with starting 1000ius of HCG EOD for 90 days. Sperm test and LH/FSH/Testosterone/estrogen test again after 90 days on HCG to decide if HMG is needed. Keep an eye on estrogen when on high dose of HCG.
I would also recommend getting lady's reproductive system checked thoroughly for things like fibroids, cysts and endometriosis...

Well that’s improved a bit from the last test if I remember correctly. What are your doses of hCG, clomid and/or hmg right now? You could have had improvement or will have improvement in sperm count and quality if it hasn’t been 3 months even with lower T. All that matters is ITT, which is the level of T inside the balls, is at a good level.

The woman tested positive today . Took about 6 months .

kept with hcg,Clomid, nolva, aromasin and HMG when I could afford it a few times a month

i got today 3rd semens analize.. evrything go down. ..in 3 months... 3 months ago i have 25mln... now. go down to 6.8 mln... dont know why... iam all time on hcg/hmg
