HCG with HRT?

This has been discussed before, but I thought I'd bring it up once again to see if anything has changed. Regular HCG is a very good idea on cycle, and it's best taken during the cycle to make "recovery" easier. Others are fine with doing megadoses post-cycle before beginning actual PCT.

My questions are these:

1. Do many of you older guys who are now on HRT find using HCG helpful, or is it unnecessary?
2. When you go on a blast (a "cycle") beyond the HRT, do you then find HCG helpful, or is it still unnecessary?

All opinions welcome but experienced or knowledgeable thoughts especially welcome.

It's unnecessary to run hcg, but that being said- I do personally find a feeling of wellbeing while on it- might be the small estrogen increase, the hcg itself or the larger hanging balls lol. I've ran it all year and for 6-8 weeks periods and find I prefer to come off for awhile and hit it up again if I start feeling "suppressed" (sex drive lowered, mood, balls hugging tight, etc). This year I'm planning on 8 weeks on, 5 weeks off. I find 700-1200 IU per week ideal with the standard 250iu twice a week not being enough (a study showed 250iu eod bringing to 83% of normal production of testosterone and 500iu eod bringing to 133% if irc if it matters for how/why we run it)

It's supposed to help with other stuff too, like lipids, libido and elections.

I use 250 iu a week yeat round

Any exogenous testosterone administration suppresses LH. IMO, hcg, when administered properly is important. Many disagree.

Elections need some help, no doubt.

In my case, I no longer have any LH or FSH to speak of, so no worries about suppressing them. I used to run 500 iu 2x EW or sometimes more. I liked the "feeling" too. But the stuff is expensive, so I was considering skipping it for a blast, or at least for five weeks.

Cool, I sent you a PM too,is about exemestane,just theoretical doubts,you are tha man,Thanks!

My doc writes HCG scripts if the patients are concerned with atrophy. Beyond that he doesn't feel it has much additional therapeutic value for this use case.

Sup Solo! Glad to see you posting.

I do runs of hCG every now and then(once a year maybe) to plump the guys up if they look sad. Sad is a subjective word so interpret it as you wish.
Other than that I wouldn't see a use for hCG.

Ive always wondered about this...since starting TRT 5 yrs ago , Im no longer making LH & FSH . Whats the price for this ? Is this connected with head hair ? Curious .

I'm going to start. Read up a lot about it and seems to help mood and cholesterol

Stims the testes to convert cholesterol into pregnenolone

Read somewhere there are LH receptors in the brain and hcg acts like LH and stimulates those receptors and create a sense of well being

Seen the mood thing reported anecdotally many times, it definitely does not have this effect on me.
