Heart Protection Associated with TRT an Anabolic Steriods

This vid and some of his others caught my attention too. I don’t begrudge anyone making a dollar but I see how his top dollar “concierge medical service” could cast doubt on his motives. Would love nothing more than this guy to be a greedy fraud making up the cardiac risk from aas. But I suspect this is not the case. Isn’t there a black box warning for all testosterone products now? For therapeutic doses, not blast n cruise. I think it’s indisputable that aas cardiac damage is a risk. But the unresolved questions in my mind are how risky? Cumulative progressive damage, or some unlucky guys get fucked and everyone else is fine? Is damage reversible? Is moderate dose occasional blasts, followed by trt (150/wk, not 3-400) likely or unlikely to shorten life span, and by how much. The massive hearts of the two prominent bbers who died recently, and other questions..

As of 2017 the FDA required manufacturers to include stroke and heart disease as potential risks of testosterone supplementation.

What’s more important, manufacturers are also required to list hypogonadism as the primary indication for TRT, with the intent of diminishing the belief TRT may also be of benefit as an “anti-aging, anti-depressant” drug.

Are the effects of AAS cumulative absolutely and I’m unaware of scientific evidence to the contrary.

The risk is undeniable, and regardless of how well it’s defined on an individualized or scientific basis.

However less than “definitive” data must never be used as justification for the reckless abuse of these substances, unless those involved are willing accept the potential consequences and have reason for doing so outside a BR mirror IMO

You are always the voice on here telling me to back off from being reckless. I have to say as I've been getting older I gravitate more towards listening to what you say on here very often. Thank you for pointing out what I miss and not asking for a dime for doing so. You're a cool guy Jim.

Bc such bloviated opinions of self are often used to justify excessive "wellness" fees, I've become weary of self proclaimed "experts" on behalf of physicians who lack sub-specialty training in their field of "expertise".

And although his videos are tainted with hyperbole, for a variety of reasons some folk need this sort of direction esp when CYCLING PEDs. However whether or not this degree of oversight is helpful as a means of limiting "cardiac risk" associated with physician directed TRT is debatable IMO.

Jim

Dr Jim will fall with an epileptic attack processing all that information. Just because he see all angles and is willing to help above and beyond your limits doesn't mean he is micromanaging.

Shine with your own light

It's not a belief that TRT is anti-aging, it is anti-aging.

(Assuming you truly have low test levels and isn't just looking for an excuse to legally juice.)

All medallions have two sides, and there's rarely a free lunch so there might very well be some negatives to all the positives, but that's a piss-poor attitude. Anyone who thinks that low T doesn't come with risks too is delusional.

It comes down to managing your risks - my risks - and who the bleep is the government and their henchmen in the medical field to prevent me from doing what I see as best for me? Imagine what would happen if we tried to treat females like me treat males?

Females want (and get) anything and everything related to their hormones and fertility to be "free" and now the TG crowd is catching on and also want their needs met, for "free" - whereas males get turned down for quite reasonable TRT treatments. More so overseas than here in the US - in many European socialist countries they're truly screwed while females get a "free" ride.

Didn't you get free gear not too long ago?;)

There’s pretty good evidence backing up Jim’s statements my friend.

Then the scientific field has removed itself from reality.

Pray tell, what does anti-aging mean to you then?

To quote the journal article:

A more pragmatic and realistic definition of anti-aging treatment is any preventative approach to reduce late-life pathology, based on the understanding that senescence is a disease syndrome.

Then we're on the same page, TRT addresses issues such as "lower sex drive and sense of vitality, erectile dysfunction, decreased energy, reduced muscle mass and bone density, and anemia" that plague so many in their old age. Ipso facto, TRT is anti-aging!

Edit: hard to take people seriously who think "preventative" is a word. And I know you just copied and pasted.

I do t think you’re understanding my position.
