Hello Everyone!

Hi Team!

My wife and I have (naturally) trained for years but at 48 and 55, we both thought we might finally leverage a little extra supplementation. I’ve been lurking here for a while and really admire the wisdom, experience, and candid advice exchanged her.

I’m ex-military (22years) and am a solid 215lbs at 6’-0”. In my prior line of work, it was important to be able to run far and fast if I was having a “bad day,” so although I’ve always maintained strength/fitness, I never could build too much mass. My goals are to stay hard and increase lean mass to reach 225-230.

She’s 5’-4” 155 and is blessed with crazy-good genetics. She’s not opposed to putting on even more muscle, but her number one goal is to harden up without losing what she’s built. At 55, she’s finding it harder to stop the softening. She likes having vascularity (Don’t we all?).

We both train, single body parts, 5-6 days a week – usually in mornings. Cardio routine varies but we try to get it in at least 3 days of 30 min HIIT a week. In addition to training, I do rescue work in the mountains. She’s a professional with a miserable drive back and forth to work. Neither of us ever competed nor do we have any plans to now.

Diet is a generally “paleo” with a weekly cheat meal that incudes desert. We go through periods where we count macros and can share that later.

We considered gear in the past, but it wasn’t until I was out of the military, we’re feeling our age, and most importantly that we found a legit, pharma-grade source that we really trust.

Thanks and Stay Dangerous!

If that's you guys in your Avi she has amazing arms!
Welcome to MESO.
You can find in the women and steroids section a lot of useful info for your wife.
Idk what's she's interesting in running but there's a couple of us girls here in different stages of Anavar cycles.

Welcome to meso. Very cool intro actually.. Get some bloodwork and see what your levels are, might be able to go the TRT route eventually. HRT is an option for women too.

Stick around, I'm interested to see what you guys get into.

Thanks everyone!

@Eman , I have an annual physical next month, so I plan to take advantage of getting all my before blood work done and get a good azimuth check. I'm thinking I will get things lined up to do a Test cycle in starting in June.

@Devika , Thanks! Guys like me come a dime a dozen but she is really amazing and quite a head turner already. Yea, that pic was from two months ago - 14"+ arms. It's already hard to buy clothes and she goes sleeveless most of the time, so she doesn't care to get even bigger. She just doesn't want them turning into bigger, SMOOTHER arms.

So, we did get Var and she is just starting her second week today - going from 5mg (split 1/2 AM and PM) to 10 mg. Plan is to keep it there for six weeks and come off. So far so good. She felt it really kicking in today when we did shoulders - feeling noticeably stronger and harder. Only negative has been difficulty sleeping since she started, which might be the added stress on the liver. She loves it though...mentioned that she is already sad the cycle will eventually have to end. I think she's ready to put that stuff in a Pez dispenser.

Thanks for all your insight on the women's forum, (especially you!). You and those threads really armed us with good info before she hit it. We'll share as we get data/results!

That's awesome. Var is an amazing compound. I'm on my 6th week, 10 mgs daily. The body recomp achieved from Anavar is amazing.
At such low dose it shouldnt put too much stress on the liver. I noticed I had difficulty falling asleep at the beginning too bc I had so much energy but my body acclimated with time.
I can share her feelings about being sad that the cycle is ending. I'm getting anxious myself.
I'm running a bit of a longer cycle than your wife (12 weeks) so I'll be taking off 12 weeks to let my body recover before starting my second cycle.
is she planning to run any other compounds in the future?
I'm looking forward to hearing your results!

There is always time for another cycle :)

Always room for HRT down the road too... There is a member here that is married to a woman that's on HRT but I can't remember his handle. I think it's low dose test that she is being prescribed. Possibly something for you ladies to keep in mind for down the road.

This cycle is a simple one and relatively short compared to yours. Wow...12 weeks. That's a long time

She's loving it and already thinking about the next one. Adding to it is the confidence gained by reading the posts from the women's forum with great expertise from people @GearGodess, yourself, and others.

Honestly, she really has a ton of muscle already. I think she might try to stack clen or even primo or winstrol next time to get more cut/harder. Taking it slow and being deliberate reassures her too.

Starting the second week today (3 days now on the 10mg split). We just did bi's and HIIT this morning. She feels great although she struggled with cardio a little- She's absolutely loving how much energy and stronger she is feeling throwing the weights around. She asked about upping the dose...but I said she ought to stick to 10mg for a few weeks. Maybe later or next time? I think 10mg is working and she should go with it for now.

Connector was bothering her in her forearm elbow again. A previous injury. With muscles getting even stronger, she just needs to be aware that the tendons/ligaments that were strained before will be even more taxed as those tissues don't keep up with the muscle gains.

On a better note, she slept the best she has in 8 nights since starting. Chest tomorrow!

Definitely going to check that out. Thanks!

I would suggest primo before winstrol. Winny is super harsh on the joints and hairline. If you can find legit primo I think that's a better choice.
Because Anavar and primo tend to be faked a lot with cheaper compounds, you guys should get a labmax test to make sure it's the right compound.
I think for us ladies, it is imperative that we test our gear. Better safe than sorry.

Also, is she's interested in cutting a little bit of fat for a harder look, try Albuterol. Wayyy better than clen and it will preserve her hard earned muscle.
If you look in the underground of MESO you'll be able to find pharma Albuterol (salbutamol). I'm actually running some right now and I really like it. You don't feel cracked out like many describe hey feel on clen.

It is very tempting to want to increase the dose when you're getting good results. I have a very conservative view when it comes to AAs and I think they key is to find the least amount of juice needed and still get results.
That way you keep at bay any unpleasant sides bc sometimes the risk-benefit ratio is just not worth it.

Welcome guys, I always loving seeing a brother in Arms in the forum. You guys look great! Send my compliments to the wife brother. I think I seen some sources with with Lady Winny and you'd probably only run it 6 weeks so the joint pain wouldn't be noticeable at that dose.

Welcome! And what a great base you both have!

What you are listing, and Devika already covered it, your wife is going through an adjustment and usually it takes about 2-3 weeks and then things to start getting better all around... feeling, energy, strength, hardness, vascularity, recovery...etc...

What I would suggest is GH... it truly is the fountain of youth... 1iu/day for a woman (2iu for a man) is more than enough to get the benefits which include increased energy, youthfulness, skin elasticity, recovery as well as fat loss... she would notice within the first 3 months that her hair and skin feels and looks better, her nails will most likely grow faster too but also healthier.... so if she is in good health now and looks great, this just amplifies it.
