JINTROLONG by GenSciThere are a lot of people all over the internet that believe the same.
In my research, I can't get a definitive answer one way or the other.
Long-Acting Pegylated Recombinant hGH (Jintrolong(R))
Polyethylene glycol recombinant human somatropin
Polyethylene glycol recombinant human somatropin was approved by China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) on January 6, 2014. It was developed and marketed as Jintrolong® by GeneScience Pharmaceuticals.
Jintrolong® is a pegylated recombinant human growth hormone, which has direct tissue and metabolic effects, including stimulation of chondrocyte differentiation, stimulation of lipolysis and stimulation of hepatic glucose output. It is indicated for pediatric growth retardation due to inadequate secretion of endogenous growth hormone.
Jintrolong® is available as injection for subcutaneous use, containing 54 IU/9.0 mg/mL of polyethylene glycol recombinant human somatropin in a vial. The recommended dose is 0.2 mg/kg once weekly.
