Help!! Having a sh*t of a time getting that last bubble out...

this is first hand info - i seen it happen!

friend was on iv for 6 months = needed to flush line after meds were medicated - on mistake he pumped 5cc of air into his pic line (direct to the heart) and it didnt do anything.

not to say it couldnt have killed him, but it didnt! ambulance came and the parimedics sayed it would take 7 or more cc to definetley kill you 5 is a risk but not certain

friend was heavily medicated- this is why he accidently pumped air instead of heprin(used for flushing line)

Guitarded here's a few tips:
use a 25 ga 1 inch pin, unless your a fat-ass you won't need a 11/2"
This (25ga) also makes you inject slow
Always asperate!!!
Warm the syringe up under warm tap water before injecting- less pain days following
If it hurts and you can't walk, find a new source
Glute- up to 3ml
Quad- up to 3ml
Shoulder- up to 2ml
