Help with thyroid bloods

NP is comparable to Armour. It's a naturally derived desiccated thyroid extract (DTE). (porcine-derived aka pig thyroid) Difference being that it is non-synthetic and contains both T4 & T3. Some people report "feeling better" on one vs the other. Good luck getting it dialed in. Your inquiry reminded me that I need to get mine dialed in too. -Gott mit uns!

appreciate the info. \o

Do you perhaps have a reference for this claim? My understanding is that low TSH increases atrial fibrillation risk, but that high TSH is generally not an issue for cardiovascular health.

Bunch more but I hope this gives you a flavor with the references therein. A TSH of 10, 20 or 30...no go.

Glad I got mine under control. Best wishes OP.

Thanks for the reply

Yeah, I suppose baseline stuff would help. Makes sense.

These are baseline. I've had one adjustment to medicatIon. I started at 25mcg for a couple months (late June through the end of August) and then it was adjusted for a few more months to 75mcg. There are bloods that prompted the increase in dosage but I don't see them in my patient portal. I remember them being slightly higher than baseline but nothing moved out of the red. Exact numbers escape me.

Noticing the baseline bloods do not match what I had done for my second bloods. Obviously something off there. The bloods posted here are more in line with what you'd say is correct?

No autoimmune issues or anything that I know of. Would there be blood work to help indicate if there might be? I had a decent workup done when I started this back in July or June so maybe I have them?

These bloods are a mess. You should make a table, clearly denoting bio markers, their values and the time + medication that you were on.

If your TSH dropped from 32 to 13 (although still "in red" as you put it) on 75 mcg's of T4, then that's substantial progress. Again, I've no idea what's what from your posts, so I'm just speculating.

Have you by any chance measured cortisol? TSH and cortisol have a positive correlation and with such high numbers I'd expect an elevated cortisol level too.
