The guy who is miserable making $10 an hour is a miserable person - he, his heart, his soul, his very being, is unhappy with who he is. He may blame it on not having the income to do things that would make him happy, but it is really his soul that is broken and empty, not his bank account.
The janitorial staff that cleans the offices in the building I work in are some of the happiest, most content people I get to talk to. Some of the executives that work in the very same building are some of the most miserable, "broke" people I get stuck talking to.

I bet if they gave you the offer of 200million dollars but leave what you have behind.90% of you all would do it. About me having no soul I don't believe in them I believe in science . Religion was just made by humans because of the fear of death and the unknown IMO.

Johnnyballz- I don't know about kids I don't have any that's a hard one. But leave a wife or my girlfriend. Hand down I wouldn't think it twice. No matter what people say money does by happiness. That's just my opinion though everyone has a right to have there own.

been following posts for quite some time. Hello to all. Haven't posted before but this one got me. I'm assuming you're saying "God" was made up by humans because of the fear of death? I can tell you I used to think the same thing. HATED the whole idea. Then the shit hit the fan. Held my six year old boy's dead body in my arms along with his best friend and his mother. The God you think was made up is as real as can be. So is the devil. Probably not a great first post but it is what it is. Some day you'll know what I'm talking about.
No doubt, the money will bring you freedom. But the real happiness comes from somewhere else.

Theshepherd- I don't believe in god and see no reason to. Just lucky I would say I have had a wonder life so far I can't complain. Have never really had to struggle for much or suffer for financially.
