i see your a hawkeye fan. i thought i would tell you that i played against fred russel in the Regional championship for class BB in Michigan back in 98. We won in double overtime 41 to 40. I played DB and RB so I tackled him a few times. He ended the game with just under 300 yards rushing but had 2 fumbles that cost them the game. I ended the game with 205 yards rushing. We actually were down by 20 at the beginning of the 4th quarter and tied the game up with no time remaining. All we had to do was hit the extra point to win but our sophomore kicker missed his first of the year so we went into overtime. It was a hell of a game.

That sounds exciting as hell. I tell you what, before the bowl game and senior bowl he was crazy to be entering the draft. Nobody would've touched him, but with his performance in those two games he might just get his chance. He had his moments but was really frustrating to watch. The way he seemed to dance too much. Funny listening to him talk lol. Rumors say we have a freshmen stud that might beat him out and that is why he isn't coming back for his final year. Who knows if there is any truth to that. I hope it is true. We will be in good shape. Did you end up playing anywhere?
