I've been taking HGH for over 2 months, and I stopped again 4 days ago, and my bloating symptoms are still lurking. Anyone who has taken HGH, how long did it take for your face and body to return 100% to normal? I heard it can take weeks, just wanted hear your experiences. Thanks!

I got some mad bloat when I increased from 12iu to 14iu, had zero issues until then which seemed odd. Looked at my diet around the same time and it was a period where I lost the taste to keep eating a rice dish I was using and id started skipping meals and eating shit.

Been experimenting with it over the last 2 weeks and I'm now 100% sure that the sides I've been getting (water retention, numb hands/feet, pain in hands, lack of grip strength) is directly tied to eating sweet foods (sugar, sweeteners??) and dairy (The dairy though might not be, it just happens to be in a lot of the sweet shit I've been eating).

Cut the shit food out and got back to eating CLEAN.... All the sides are gone in 3 to 4 days. I've done this 2wks in a row now to test it, worked the same both times.

I really think the side effects that people experience from HGH are directly tied to the types of foods being eaten. Eat enough of a clean diet and I'm pretty convinced a lot of side effects for HGH will settle down and allow increased dosages for some people.

I’m experiencing this right now (not on GH, just test and deca). I eat super clean, but I’ve noticed if I eat too much salad and veggies, I bloat up like crazy. Feel it in my wrists, fingers, waist. Don’t know if it’s the combination of drugs and lots of water and fiber? Diet definitely is a contributing factor fo sho.

it honestly varies a LOT depending on diet, genetics, and other factors. Even sleep can affect it fairly greatly.
That said, give it 2-3 good weeks and if it doesn't go down, then you should probably ask yourself about the legitimacy of the stuff you are taking. I have heard of some places spiking the stuff with diuretics to give intentional water retention, be careful out there man

I'm pretty "diet-sensitive" too, when it comes to water retention but for me it's mainly salt.

Big salty dinner = noticeable water retention the next day. Drinking water throughout the day seems to help. Not a fan but I'm much more mindful of hydration when salty foods come into the mix with GH.

Salt and sugar seem the most directly related to whether I’m going to hold water on gh or not. Too much of either and I bloat.

I've been on keto for a while so carbs in general have been quite low. I don't think I've had any significant high carb meals or phases while being on GH so can't comment.

Salt is pretty high with high carb foods so maybe it's confounded. Idk.

I can’t imagine doing keto on AAS. Besides the need for glucose in hypertrophy, I would think a high fat diet would add to the lipid issues. However, I was definitely way more dried out when I was doing keto as a natty.

I’m speculating of course. Pretty sure you are years ahead of me in experience.

Gains are slower on keto even with TRT/gear and you have to get creative with food prep but it's easier for me to stay lean and my bloodwork looks good.

Some guys get sky high ApoB (LDL) on keto but fortunately I don't.

How would diuretics cause water retention.... They are specifically made to remove water retention.

I have been on hgh 4 IU’s for the past 3 weeks. I have read it can cause water retention and result in tingling in the feet and hands in the mornings. This wasn’t my experience. I had little bloat but I was also dieting. I will tell you I had terrible carpel tunnel after using the dose to 5iu. Had to take it back down to avoid like I was breaking my wrist lifting.

If you experience carpel tunnel like symptoms, chances are the stuff is legit. Not scientific by any means but something to look for.

This is my first time using gh and I'm on day 17. Started with 2iu at night and went up to 3iu 5 days ago. I'm definitely holding some water, most noticeable in my legs and ankles. I've been injecting sub-q in my abdomen mostly but I have tried IM in my delts. I did sub-q right delt the other day and notice a splotchy red mark where the bolus used to be. It didn't itch or anything so I went back to my sub-q abdomen shots. Today right around my injection sites (alternating left/right) is itchy and I have the same red splotchy marks as I did on my sub-q delt shot. I didn't notice any type of reactions in the very beginning and none with the IM delt injections.

Can any experienced members share some input on this?
