Some of you might think this is off topic on a steroid forum, but bear in mind that's where I have the most chance to get constructive and educated answers about my request.
All medical forums have been clueless.

Most of my health issues come down to my gut being leaky (as assessed by test), after rounds of unnecessary antibiotics and junk food for years.

I've put all natural solutions in place to heal it: raw food, gluten free, no refined sugars, glutamine, collagen powder, collostrum.

The benefits are immense and I can feel a tremendous improvement.
However I'm still miles away from absorbing nutrients as well as I used to.

I have access to pharm grade HGH pens, and I have read anecdotal evidence that HGH helps in healing a leaky gut by sealing the tight junctions back together.

1) have you read anything supporting that anecdotal evidence?

2) how many IUs of pharm grade HGH / day would help in treating my gut?

3) assuming I would do a 6 months treatment at 2 pins/day for a total of 4IUs / day, would my pituitary resume it's own production after the 6 months?

there are experimental and clinical studies demonstrating the effectiveness of wound healing generally, and healing of the epithelial lining of the gut, specifically. in your case, you likely need to restore homeostasis to your microbiome - the poor diet and pharmaceutical antibiotics destroyed a lot of good bacteria. you might want to try home-brewed kombucha for probiotics and lots of bananas for prebiotic fiber. also, you might want to eliminate foods that are high in refined or added sugars, as well as eat only organic. excess refined sugars and chemical pesticides can degrade microbiome. hope this helps.

Already introduced probiotics 150 billions/day 42 strains (you can't find better) and cut all sugars for one full year.
I think that just doesn't cut it and I need a more aggressive healing method.
First shot of Genotropin tonight, will keep a log of how things go

Hi Goingstronger. I too have leaky gut and Im looking at HGH or something similar to try heal it. Ive tried basically everything, and while it has definitely helped, it still isnt better. How did you go with HGH? Have you had success with anything else?

I’ve done a few rounds of 3 weeks Genos here and there.
Definitely seeing improvement in the gut and joints department

Good to hear. What sort of improvement would you say percentage wise? And what are genos? Can you recommend a basic protocol?

Genos = Genotropin from Pfizer.

I can’t recommend any protocol. What I do is between 3iu-5iu one single dose before bed.

I observed a reduction in diarrhea, my stools are mostly solid now and I have significantly less bloating/gas if at all.

My shoulders and hip flexors used to click a lot when working out, that’s not the case anymore

It is well-established that, as we age, GH and IGF levels decline exponentially [2-3]. This can occur at a very substantial rate with some measures showing the decline occurring at 14% per decade after puberty [4]. To put this into perspective, elderly males may produce as little as 50 mcgs/day of GH as compared to teenage boys who can produce as much as 1.0-1.5 mg/day [5]. The scientific community has coined the term somatopause to describe this phenomenon that leaves nearly 40% of elderly males clinically GH deficient [1]. I’ve written about this topic in some depth previously, so I won’t be doing another deep-dive here, but I would urge you all to review [6] before moving on.

Since my post a year ago, I’ve avidly read all your articles and have learnt a lot.

Is it a typo or did you actually mean teens can produce up to 1.5mg/day (and not 1.5iu/day??)

Just seems like a lot, but I guess growth has to be fueled adequately.

Oh goodness, haha. I didn't realize that post was from last year...

Not a typo, there is a stark decline in serum GH levels after the age of 20 in healthy men.

"The absolute range of mean (24-h) serum GH concentrations that we observed within a broad span of ages (18-63 yr) and body weights (12-47% body fat) encompassed a 140-fold variation, viz. from 0.013-1.8 pg/L."

Please do feel free to check my math though.
