I remember 2 live crew,2cd 2 none,pent house players click,2 short,nwa,Beastie boys,DJ quick, cmw,and a shit load of other brain washing jams.I was a little thing and the gangsters I kicked it with are all dead or in the pin....no regrets

Those "brain washing jams" is what we grew up on. Yes I have many dead or locked up old friends. But you never forget what you learned from them and hopefully can lead the next generation from it.

I can't relate to this new rap I gave up on it.it was all about.the struggle and the come up....
The look on my kids face when we were driving threw Compton the other day and I told her how people would kill each other over Nike air Jordan's.hahahahahah

My godfather a brother from Cali i was visiting in my teens. Got lost driving, ended up right in the Compton hood. He made me lay down in the car. I was shitty my pants... not gonna lie

But I learned to be humble but I have a bad tendency to snap.
I have seen people get shot many times as a kid even brains on walls.just glad it has calmed down around here all the killers are dead or locked up.

Don't really listen to this stuff like I used to but these were some of my favorite tracks as a kid:
^I had several copies of it was written. 2 cassettes and a few CDs. My friend burned me a copy of QB's Finest and It Was Written. Every time I listen to Affirmative Action or The Message it gets me a little worked up. We went to senior trip together. Later in life he OD'd on heroin. Kind of crazy one of the songs that makes me think of him is a song explaining the drug game in 4 minutes. Kind of a catch 22.
