How much cardio a week do you all do?

Yeah, I don't know any experienced road cyclist who hasn't been at least swiped by a car before. I'm too much of a pussy to risk it.

There are less expensive options if budget is restricted of course

Coupled with an app like roovy and a big screen tv it's as close as a real cycling experience can be without the risk of getting hit by a shitty driver

I literally sit on a stationary bike and play games on my phone and watch YouTube videos in my laptop next to it. I don’t wanna get all preachy but everyone here should be doing cardio simply for the fact that we are all taking drugs that have a negative impact on health markers that cardio could directly compete with. There’s no need to get crazy or dedicate hours of time to it. Even just 15 min after your workouts would be so much better than nothing for your health markers
But technicall cardio post workout would be detrimental to the weightlifting you just did, hence why seperate is best.

I’m impressed with some of y’all’s cardio routines. I do about 180-200 minutes a week, stationary bike or incline treadmill at 130-140s bpm. This is during a cut.

45-90 minutes, 6 days a week. Mostly LiSS but working in some Hitt for the next month to get the last layer of fat off.

210 mins a week of step mill on lvl 10-12 and about 210 mins a week on a spin bike every morning fasted. as well as i do manual labor for a job. so cheers this is during a cut regular is just 210 mins of step mill lvl 10-12

I second this. I have a similar setup that I make regular use of throughout the year to spend less time on the road during suboptimal conditions when it comes to weather and time of day. I wouldn't say it approaches IRL cycling experience but the gaming aspect of Zwift is a lot of fun

45 minutes eliptical ( 145-155 hr)on Training days (5 days a week) 1 hour eliptical plus 100 burpees 2 days a week. I am going to cut out the burpees on the non-training days... just think I need the extra recovery.

Why not just cut it down to like 75-80 burpees? That cuts volume 20-25% and then you can adjust further if necessary

Having some elbow and shoulder pain and just figure I would see if cutting the burpees out for a couple weeks will help some. Take those 2 days and just do some good 60 minute eliptical rides and give my joints a better rest.

Hate to say, but i call BS on many here…..

So you are all saying you are able to work full time, jobs, run 30-60 min at 230+ pounds, then weight lift for 1-2 hours a day, 5/6 days a week?

That doesnt include a shower 2x a day, along with going to grocery store, meal prepping???

No idea how your guys bodies arent killing you non stop.

Dude you just described my life.... I kinda feel like a loser now lol. I go to work (10-12 hrs a day 5 day) I go to the gym (2-2.5 hrs a day 6day) and I come home. I just got out of prison where I spent some years..( because I was a peice of crap and broke the law, but I did my time and trying to be a law biding citizen except for the non so legal compounds) I am trying not to be so institutionalize but this structured routine for me is good. Keeps me busy and outta trouble.. I live in a very rural community which is good because I don't wanna be around a lot of people because (I thought I was nuts) but society is done gone crazy!!!
