How much cardio do guys do?

I am mostly active at work which requires climbing and walking all over. I also frequently walk 3 miles around my small German town on weekends. That is all the cardio I do.

It’s mind blowing that walking/“steps”(ridiculous) lol is considered exercise to many.

Ambulation is literally the foundation of human exercise. It is the one we start doing as much as possible the second we learn the skills required to do so.

Measuring exercise is what separates training from "dicking around".

Recording that measurement is what guides performance improvement.

Measuring walking is no different than measuring time spent doing Exercise X, reps times set for Exercise Y, recording your dietary intake, and requires the same level of "technology" as wearing a watch.

Difficult, dangerous, or expensive it is not, while being tremendously beneficial.

The cost/benefit/risk ratios here for measuring, recording, and improving exercise of virtually any kind including walking are simply off the charts.
