How to do roids without looking like you are on cycle?

Honestly now that I’ve increased the volume lifting in the 6-12 rep range, I’m noticing a big difference in visual growth. Before, for years, I use to strictly train 3-5 reps and would get stronger but hardly look any bigger unless I was in a big caloric surplus.

Fuck this heavy training shit, it’s taxing and little reward for me in terms of physique and hypertrophy.
The surplus would be the key there.
I train heavy, always heavy and to failure. But heavy is also relative. I hit all muscle groups in the 5-9,10-12,15-20 rep range. But it’s all heavy as when you’re pushing beyond failure and using a very controlled and slow tempo. For bodybuilding purposes there’s no reason go below 5 reps as I don’t believe there’s enough tut.

15-20 rep range

I tried integrating 20-rep back squats a couple years back. It was then that I realized I didn't quite have that level of mental fortitude. A morning workout with that meant that I wasn't going to do shit for the rest of the day.

Great stuff but I am not sure I could have hacked that back in my 20's let alone now.

:D Yeah, 20 rep squat sets suck! It's work.

It’s very, very, infrequent that someone has the balls to straight up ask “Are you taking steroids?”, and in this rare occurrence I hit back with a “I have my own gym and hit it six times a week, I eat six meals a day. You tell me what I’m supposed to look like when I live like this?”

I got hooked on window makers from doing DC training.
theyre not fun. I’m a gluten for punishment though.

That’s the thing, when I was lifting heavy a surplus was almost required in order to add weight to the bar. Now even when cutting I find I can make steady progress with little fatigue, actually looking bigger. I’m also taking 400mgs of test so that helps

That's cheating!

You're correct as far as i'm concerned. It takes big weights to build a big boy. If it were easy everyone would be jacked.
I'm not big, and also don't understand most of what y'all are talking about. But a quote from a dude at my gym back home has stuck with me for 15 years. "Everyone wanna be a body builder but no one wanna lift no heavy ass weight."

Maybe he stole that from someone, I don't know, but I'm trying to put it into practice now.
