Hst??

Hey I was told that a good workout is HST....i'm new to this what is that exactly??I dont' mean to sound stupid i just don't know the workout vocab yet...thanks
 
HST= Hypertrophy-Specific Training. Check out the links under bodybuilding for their website. I took 2 girls through an 8-week cycle last fall and they both complained that they got too big! Good sound program for anybody, will give you some nice strength gains as well.

HST is a great program, but Ive never known any girls to try it. Works great for guys. I suppose it all depends on what youre looking to accomplish, Tecs.
 
I want to gain strength but remain cut and tone...i have never used an acutal workout program i just made sure i hit all major and minor groups i could
 
It's a good program for building muscle, however if you train for fitness show and use AAS, you might get alittle "too big". If you just use this program in conjunction with good diet and maybe some clen, you might get exactly what you looking for. Experimenting is good.
 
Freddy has used HST while dieting with excellent results, so it is possible to do. If you use HST for dieting, I would just keep your calories around maintenance levels or at the most 10% below.

If you're gonna do it, I STRONGLY recommend you commit yourself for the entire 8 weeks (plus 1 week of strategic deconditioning). Otherwise it's going to be very difficult to evaluate its effectiveness. Most of the results are seen during the second half of the program and even carrying over into your next one IMHO.
