Im sure this doesnt pertain to anything, but i met Jesse Jackson,, my mother is a precinct (something or another) for the Kerry/edwards Campagne(Sp?) Sh received VIP tickets which included the ability to meet the speakers at one of those town hall things.. Not wanting to start an argument with anyone,, Im still undecided,, but it was very cool to get the oppurtunity to meet Edwards, Jackson, and several other candidates who are running for various positions in my state... Long story short, I spoke to Jackson for a couple of minutes, asked him a couple of questions, he asked me a couple (politicaly related).. Anyways,, again, save the BS, im not trying to start a debate,, just sharing my experience..

EXCELLENT point....

How can a so called reverend be a multi-millionare heading a non-profit organization (Rainbow/PUSH Coalition)?

He's the one that had a mistress on the side with a kid...and he's married! What a great man of God - or should I dare say the word...typical.

Timely???..Did you know MoveOn.Org gave a large donation to the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition the day after Jesse signed on to Kerry's campaign...

I'd tell all the little hood rats in the inner city to quit blaming everyone else for their woes in life, quit gang banging, go to school, and make something of yourself on your own; and do it by yourself as no one is entitled to help you along the way.

That is how I'd use my platform. Kind of like Bill Cosby and Larry Elder.

Don't have an opinion one way or the other on Edwards, but Jessie Jackson is just a "shakedown artist." A millionaire from exploiting his own race....Just trying to get equality for us....What a load of crap!

Very true my friend.....I suggest everyone read the book called "Shakedown" by Kenneth Timmerman. It is a great read that really shows the true JJ.

I'm sure most candidates have learned through the years that these guys ruin all credibility when they lend their support. I guess you will never have to worry about that as long as you are a Republican. I've always voted Rep. but Kerry actually got my attention when he started addressing the job market. Bush says we've created 1.5 million jobs...Too bad they all pay 8 bucks an hour. I don't see a huge separation between the two parties. just my $.02
