Man, that was well written. you have alot more patience than I do, and much more articulate.
Thanks man, there's a lot more to say on these topics and I don't really have the patience to flush them out either. Just some food for thought though. Why did the media focus on Jacob Blake and Gorge Floyd and not Breanna taylor?
My guess would be that in the case of Taylor there was an obvious path to policy change. No knock raids and non violent drug crime being the obvious reason for the situation. Get rid of those policies and this tragedy doesn't happen anymore. But you see, that would actually affect some change in society and change the power structure. Which the media does not like, they want to push for more reach and control. So they cover the two cases where there is no obvious path to policy change. And what happened, efforts devolved into "defund the police" and "be nicer/maybe don't choke people so much".. That's the policy they came up with no more choking. Well anyways the media can cover these two because they are safe from actually bringing about change all the while morally pandering to useful idiots.
