I think that it is just a bad shot man, I dont know if you posted but what was in the syringe? The compound , esp if test E, can be like this sometimes. Cranky bitch she is

Yeah I always did test c and I’ll be changing soon

You need to keep an eye on it. One of the best ways is to draw a circle around it to make sure the infection isn't spreading. Make sure you aren't running a fever either. You will notice a difference in heat from coming into contact with an abscess and the rest of your skin

No, all compounds i usually do IM, but atm im running test only and with a slin pin i doubt i always hit my asscheek 100% lol
But usually i use around 1 inch long needles and those are IM

I used a 23g on glutes just to make sure I got right into the muscle. Never had a single lump. But my god was my ass sore for a few days.

So after about 300 injections I have been hit with something. I injected into glute on Friday and it was a nice and smooth process. I’m doing Deca, primo, and test. Test is in mct. Deca cottonseed. Primo is EO. Well yesterday I was getting ready and noticed a big lump on muscle when I stood a flexed position. My muscle has a golf ball on it!! I use a 1.5” needle and never use my draw needle to inject. I take sterilization above and beyond every time. I am wondering if was an infection would there be any signs by now? Would it be hot or painful? Just really not feeling like an infection is something I want to mess with and not be proactive about. Thanks for your time.
This is the reaction I had using EO for the first and last time.

Dealing with similar right now-- waiting it out--- only been 3 days since injection. First run with Primo--- swelled up and very painful.. using hot tubs, heating pads, and Epsom salt bath... seem to feel achy and feverish too but gonna wait at least a week before considering doc. Trusted source--so not thinking the gear-- I might have screwed up the injection more likely or my body just reacting to the primo.

I've seen something like this happen in areas where frequent injections are being done over a long period of time. The scar tissue allows the injected substance to back out of the muscle and leak into the area between the muscle and the fat layer. The area becomes very inflamed due to the reaction your body has to some of the components of the mix.

A buddy of mine had this happen with a quad injection. The outer quad literally swelled up and was a good 2 inches larger. Added some nice quad sweep for about a week and a half. It was red and warm to the touch but was just the reaction not an infection.

We watched the spot move down his outer quad while it healed. I guess it was gravity slowly moving the injected substance down towards his knee. It did go away on it's own.

That is almost guaranteed my issue--- time to try other spots!

It’s easy to do especially if you’re using shorter needles. My buddy was using either a 3/4 or 1” not sure which. He’s not had another issue like that since and he’s injected quads many times since then. He just uses a different area now.

So... here I am again. My lump in the ass cheek is gone but I injected 1ml in my left quad on last Wednesday and it was a smooth process. Fast forward to Saturday my quad is tight as fuck. It’s tuesd now and my leg tingling and swelling up a little bit. I can flex my quad. I had pip many times just not 4 days after injecting. 1ml is a walk in the park so I know it’s not that. I just wonder if the EO isn’t my thing... My concern is when do you say when and go in?? Thanks guys!

So it probably doesn’t take long to know if you have a sterile absess or infection. Fever and feeling shitty doesn’t take long does it?

Depends how fast it progresses. You should get CBC and CRP done, then you'll know for sure. Elevated/lowered WBC along with elevated CRP means an immune response against bacteria. WBC might even be normal, but elevated CRP will be a clear sign. If your lab can test for Procalcitonin then that's an even more specific, in fact the most accurate, test for bacterial infections.

Honestly, I bet a large amount of PIP incidents that resolve on their own might be infections that the body can handle without antibiotics.

What's the EO concentration? You mentioned EO.

Heating pad or a hot soak. Or tell your doc you injected some vitamin b

And why can't he just tell his doc the truth? The OP has been lifting for some time and I'm sure his body habits is a reflection of that fact.

When confronted with a complication LYING about PED use is rarely
if ever in a patients best interest!

Probably safest to tell. But this info will be written in the final report. In addition to that, you'll get looked at all weird and judged. I've heard in some countries it will cause losing health insurance. Maybe insurance will stay intact but what do you say next time it happens?

There would be much less stress and incidents if people could get their hands on proven-quality gear with 100% guarantee.
