Info collectors

Im confused how it makes any work for the source. Unless Im mistaken the source doesnt have to submit any information to WU prior to receiving funds. (Or an I wrong?)

The source gives the buyer a name and state. If the buyer doesnt pay then nothing happens.

Sure you had to send an email to the buyer but it doesnt sound like it worth getting upset about, its just an email. Or am I missing soemthing?
Sources may use a handfull of names. So if you give "person x in country y" to someone, and they don't use it, if they are LE then it is fairly simple to get WU to cough up the pickup history for person x. I'm almost certain WU will not even bother to fight the RFI, why would they? Point is, LE now has info: where did person x do pickups. Should the source be less than bright, he may use person x's name again, and pinching him becomes a trivial exercise. If source is a bit brighter, that name is burnt, and source now has one less name for pickups, which he will need to replace. No matter how you slice it, it's a headache.

Pharmacist, we can understand your frustration and concerns, but this is the underground and I'm sure every source encounters the same bs. Take Bickel, Lp and MassT's advice, move on, understand there are a lot of wanna be's on these type of boards and if it gives you satisfaction, keep the list of ones that collected info for future reference. When they do mature or are serious about an order, you can deny them (if they are dumb enough to use the same email).
Seriously, you've been a great source and very professional. Don't let some assholes alter your integrity.

I say be more selective in who you choose to do business with. When I hustled I took as many mental notes on the potential customer as possible. This is the risk you take being a public source. As for putting someone's identity out there it would be fucked up. This is the name of the game you are in. Your the one that has what people want so it's up to you to decide who to give your payment info to.

True that ! I am the one who decides who has the payment info. NOTE: I never said anything about sharing public the identity ! Just the email address. Not his identity for god's sake.

It is a slippery slope though, pharmacist. Some people can be tracked down through an email address. Also, even though it is "just their email address" in your mind, some could perceive it as more serious than that.

The short term satisfaction of exposing their email address, would not be worth the potential long term damage to your reputation and business. Just my take on it.

Good point ... at least I vented about it !

lightspan, Thanks for taking the time to explain it to me. Ive always wondered how it worked.

So, kinda on topic. Ive had SRCs that have made me go pick up my WU $ and resend it to a new name. According to them WU blocked the recipient name for some reason. (Ive been told because the have too much cash coming to it.) SO the SRC doesn't use a new name for every order? Is this just being lazy? Does WU block stuff when they think somethings up?

It seems like WU is good for the buyer but scary for the seller.

It doesnt mean its LE. I dont care for a reason ... I just hate these mofo's as it takes time and money to change the info every time an idiot pop's up.
Ok I feel that, but if someone is legit and needs the info, then how do they go about on asking if they are newbee, for example me.

What is the purpose of this? Why the hell would they need info if they don't plan on purchasing anything?
Most sources would never do business with a customer who did that even one time. It's pretty lame to not follow through.

You could use your thread, but run it past MB first. Meso isn't a board that backs sources though.

Man, I've placed an order before and never went through with it. Not my fualt and i contacted source to let him know. Got pulled over and car got impounded and all kinds of bullshit on my way to western union. I couldn't imagine if a source posted my info and i could have been at risk over someone being upset. Just take a deep breath and let it go. The door swings both ways. Imagine if you had a shipping issue and the customer was so mad he tried to get you busted. Slippery slope indeed.

If I were @pharmacist or any source for that matter, I would post any and all info I had on an individual that contacted me for payment info then never followed thru unless they had a damn good excuse. This stuff isn't a game. Lives/Freedom can be put in jeopardy if security isn't maintained to the highest possible standard.
