Can injectable salbutamol be used for fat loss purposes? If so at what dosage?

It comes in 0.5mg ampoules

Ventolin Injection 500 micrograms (0.5mg) in 1ml (500 micrograms/ml) is presented as ampoules of 1ml, each containing 500 micrograms salbutamol as salbutamol sulphate BP in a sterile isotonic solution.

Also, juts out of curiosity, do you think it may have greater fat burning effect in the spot where it was injected?

According to what I've found so far injectable salbutamol is used at 0.5mg doses for the treatment of acute asthma attacks while tablets come in 2mg - 4mg doses. This suggests to me a great deal of the salbutamol is lost when taken orally, hence injecting could potentially allow someone to use a lower dosage, which may have less side effects (?) or at least spare your stomach/liver/kidneys/whatever the stress of metabolizing the tablets (?).

It's just speculation on my part. But if anyone has experience using injectable salbutamol, I'd like to hear about it.

A couple points...
The plasma half life of salbutamol is ~3.9 hours via injection and 2.7 - 5 hours via oral administration. To maintain somewhat stable levels you would be administering about every 4 hours. You do really want to be injecting that often?

You are correct in that a good amount of orally administered salbutamol is metabolized (generally thought to be via intestinal lining) before it reaches the blood stream. Via oral administration, plasma levels peak between 2-4 hours.
Via the injection route, plasma levels peak within 10 minutes before rapidly dropping 80-90% within 90 minutes. This large initial spike may actually lead to more pronounced side effects when compared with oral administration, which features far less dramatic changes in plasma levels.

Injected salbutamol has a greater effect (increase) on heart rate than oral administration.

The chemical is considered to have low toxicity, regardless of administration method.

All that being said, if you're set on injecting, have at it. I just want to give you some extra data. I find taking it orally (liquid form) is pretty simple. It's readily available and I can squirt some into a water bottle and take it on the go when needed.
